I've had tounge, liver, kidney and chitlings. I've also had stuffed pig stomach

Me too, but they were (at least I use to think) normal foods.

Ever had Menudo? Pretty good too!

Well I am from Louisiana, and I have eaten just about anything that moves here at some point. My former roomate was a really good cook, but I learned not to ask what was for dinner after he told me that the fine gumbo I was eating was made with Neutria Rat.

Oh, an English seaside treat is jellied eels. I've eating a fair bit of that, and cockles too. I've also eaten periwinkles (sea snails) and mussels (those are more common). Pigs brains (aka brawn in the UK) that my grandma made, tongue sandwiches (cow tongue, that is) and of course the offal (kidneys, liver, chitlings, tripe) that used to be a staple part of the British cuisine. Mmm...I think I'm going to make me some liver and onions for supper tonight! YUM!

eels are a japanese staple. I ate cow brains when a child till I found out what" Mejoya" was really.

Well, I have had Haggis

Haggis is a regular feature in our house. Burns' night in January, we have haggis tatties and neeps (Haggis, mashed potatoes and swede/turnips). Traditional Scottish fare.

If it was good gumbo, I would not have asked either!
