Escargot in France. We had gone out after a rain shower and picked up the snails that were crawling around. They were kept in a tub of seasoned flour on the kitched windowsill for 3 or 4 days, then garlic sause was squirted inside their shell and they were put on the BBQ grill. You knew they were cooked when they popped up in the air.

Horsemeat burgers, again in France.

And Chir-asshole has the nerve to say British cooking is bad.

Oh, and I ate gator tail in Florida.

Earthworm pudding and Wormcakes.

I can share the recipe if anyone is interested. ;~D

Well to be honest the question is highly subjective as some of us wouldn't really consider fresh grubs, grasshoppers, ants, horse meat, buffalo, and the like to be especially odd.

I have eaten more than my share of rattlesnake. Is that considered odd?

I did eat an odd number of chocolate cream Oreos once, does that count?
