I've eaten snake a couple of times and gator tail once or twice. Also had chocolate covered ants once.

Why do people keep bringing up gator tail? There's nothing "odd" about that. Damn good eating.

dont know if it's the oddest but it's definetely the grossest: turtle's guts.... eww...

Well to be honest the question is highly subjective as some of us wouldn't really consider fresh grubs, grasshoppers, ants, horse meat, buffalo, and the like to be especially odd.

I have eaten more than my share of rattlesnake. Is that considered odd?

I did eat an odd number of chocolate cream Oreos once, does that count?

well mason, since you cannot find many people that have eaten fresh grubs , I consider that odd, and yes if your number of cookies was 1,3,5,7,9,11 that's very odd.

Snails weren't the worst thing I ever ate, but they sure as heck weren't the tastiest either.

Oh, an English seaside treat is jellied eels. I've eating a fair bit of that, and cockles too. I've also eaten periwinkles (sea snails) and mussels (those are more common). Pigs brains (aka brawn in the UK) that my grandma made, tongue sandwiches (cow tongue, that is) and of course the offal (kidneys, liver, chitlings, tripe) that used to be a staple part of the British cuisine. Mmm...I think I'm going to make me some liver and onions for supper tonight! YUM!
