America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
This is just Ugly

This is just about what one family went through fighting for the passage of Proposition Eight.

The shameful and vicious treatment which the McIlhenny family, including thier three children, suffered from Gay and Lesbian activists during their stay in San Fran Freako from 1973 until the late 1990's. The homosexual movement has been able to obtain its goals by using FASCIST tactics, violence, intimidation and threatening boycotts of those corporations that refuse to satisfy their demands.

Chuck McIlhenny was the pastor for the Presbyterian church in southern California and was transferred to San Fran Freako in 1973. His troubles began in 1978 when he learned that the church organist was a practicing Homosexual, and Chuck fired him. The organist Kevin Walker filed a lawsuit against not only against Reverend McIlhenny, but also the church and the 10 other churches in northern California. for discrimination against a person  on the basis of his sexual practices, which is forbidden by the San Fran Freako Board of Supervisors.

Soon after the T.V. and print media reported the opening of the trail in 1980 the McElhinney's began to receive obscene phone calls, hundreds of threatening letters, pornographic material in the mail, death threats, some of which described their three children in detail, where the kids attended school, and what deviant acts that were going to be performed on the kids.

Pastor M. had been voluntary doing a radio broadcast at a christian radio station when the lawsuit started, shortly after that he was taken off the air because of the lawsuit and fears over the loss of the stations 25 million operation.

During Sunday services gay and lesbian protesters started showing up dressed in "punk style" garb. Others would show up as transvestites, they would interrupt services by standing up, shouting obscenities, slam windows carve profanities into the pews. They were disruptive, abusive and terrorized regular parishioners.

The violence against the church escalated, with broken windows, Then in 1983 on May 31st in the middle of the night someone set the pastors home on fire, endangering him, his wife and three children.

Now remember these are the same people that "just want their civil rights" But have no problem denying other people of theirs. This is what we the people of California have to face on a daily basis dangerous criminal gay and lesbians will to go to any criminal extent to get their way no matter who they hurt, maim or kill.

Wow, pretty strong stuff here MM. You don't seem to be holding any punches back in your articles lately. It's a shame people in this country will resort to such lenghts to pay people back for anything from racism, to their sexual practices and even for something as silly as a joke. This country may have been created on the basis of freedom, but it seems we lost our respect and civility in the process.

The only thing worse that a communist country full of uncivilized people is a free country full of uncivilized people.

Shouldn't it be 'this is how some gays behave'?

it's getting pretty widespread.  I've got stories from when I lived in Maine also.  It gets very nasty when you go against the homosexual agenda.  They have become very militant.

I agree with the Pastor.  I'm just wondering if he went about it right or not.  There's a good way and a wrong way to deal with this.

My husband, a Pastor, had to deal with this once and there was no backlash.  While we didn't have a practicing Homosexual in our church, we were approached by a gay couple via an email about attending our church.  They had come in unknown before and were now inquiring how we would feel about them attending or joining.   They were edgy in their email but my husband was able to difuse them with right (very careful)  wording so as not to ignite anything.  They went away with no problems only a challenge by my husband.  They would be welcome but only with the idea that they were coming in to break from that lifestyle and to conform to the words of Christ.

There are many churches out there now that have no problem with practicing homosexuals in their midst.  There really isn't an excuse for such behavior.

I am not saying that there are any excuses for this behaviour just that it is not appriaote to tar the millions of homosexuals with the actions of a few.

Would you agree with an article saying that belivers in the OT kill homosexuals just because a few of them have done so?

Yes, it must have been really tough to be a bigot in the olden days. Fancy sacking an organist because they're gay - of course they are! I've never heard of a male church organist who isn't!

Anyway, while they probably didn't deserve the abuse heaped on them, this all happened more than 10 years ago. Why is it still relevant now?

The gay and lesbian alliance has run amok here in California to really understand how insane they have become you need to read some online papers from California that cover them.

I shall take this under advisement.Betta hurry, they shut down forever on feb 10th.Back on your original topic: Sure, the militant faction of the gay community behaves horribly.  By the same token so does the more radical faction of the Christian community.  Need I mention the Westboro Baptist Church and their heinous behavior? The fringe elements in all of us give the rest a bad name, ya know?  I could even come up with some radical Zionists who haven't been exactly nice or tolerant of their neighbors, but that would really piss Leauki off and to be honest, I have neither the interest or the energy to fight with him.Humans are just assholes, and no group is exempt.

agreed, with one codicil, the gays here in California, are threatening peoples life thier right to work, their wives and husbands, their children to set someones house on fire in the middle of the night shows a penchant for premeditated murder. Plus it is said "you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a gay man or lesbian woman in California"

on May 31, 2009

I don't see Basmas's comment as a cop-out. More like a statistical observation. In fact, it seems to me that the gays you have a problem with are a very small minority if you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a gay man or lesbian woman in California". Otherwise everyone supporting the marriage-ban would be dead.

All the gay people I know would never do anything you described. I also don't understand the point that you are trying to make here - that gay people are inherently evil? You can't reach that conclusion from your article.

That there is a dangerous group of people attacking those who have different politics? Now that is true of many political groups all over the country - I recall lesbians who were threatened for living in the midwest, with people firing gunshots around their house every night. If this is the principle in jeapordy it would be good to see examples of such behavior from both sides.
