America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Her name was angel

Long ago in another time MM use to "move" a little pot, just to keep my expenses down {so I could smoke for free}.

Anyway My cat angel was always a little strange, in a house filled with pit bulls, angel ruled with an iron claw.

The dogs knew better than to even sneer at her because the alpha dog {me} would get them and not get them nicely, But I digress.

I had this beautiful hand made pot box, where I stored all my paraphernalia and several varieties of pot, usually some red-bud or gold {both Colombians} and Maui wowee along with the famous panama red and Acapulco gold.

The box was left out in the open as was the custom then.

I started noticing that time to time several buds would turn up missing, and I just put it down to memory loss due to way to much smoking dope.

I started to roll one , broke the bud down removed seeds while leaving a few buds in the open lid for my next joint.

I felt the need to use the restroom and left the box open with the buds lying in plain sight.

Came back and noticed a bud missing, at first I was sure one of my kids was taking the pot for themselves and confronted them about it.

Both children denied it.

I started leaving buds out and kept my eye open to catch the kids, but to no avail, I just could not catch them red handed.

One day while walking by the living room I noticed angel {the cat remember her?} sneaking around, you know how cats sneak all the time.

Then I noticed a small bud in her mouth, watched her and tracked where she went.

She slipped under my youngest bed {carpeting under there} so the bed was not moved around.

I knelt down and looked under bed where angel was, and saw this amazing stash of pot, probablly close to 1/2 an ounce, a wide variety of buds from several different staches of mine.

The little vixen {she weighed 6 pounds} was stealing my pot, for what reason I do not know.

I had to apologize to my kids and kept the lid on my box closed from that point on.

Thats the story of my dope stealing cat.

Across the room? That's it, turn in your snipers badge (you light weight). Is that the best you can do? Even at my age 300-400 yards would not be a problem at least from a prone position anyway. I really wouldn't try at 1500 yards anymore. Any more than 300-400 yards, I would need a really good scope. But you're right, at one time 1500 yards was "almost" a shoo-in.

This was all said at a distance of 1600 yards!
