America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Some well deserved gratitude

Thank you President bush for:

Having one of the lowest unemployment rates of any sitting president.

For freeing millions of oppressed people in Afghanistan and Iraq.

For helping the Jews and Palestinians to finally start to work out a viable peace plan.

For being the first country to come to the aid of the tsunami victims.

For being true to your vision against all odds.

For being man enough to be the first president to attend a Pope’s funeral.

For wanting to do something about a broken social security system.

For being true to those that work for you, and not throw them to the wolves at the first sign of opposition.

Thank you for your incredible strength as the leader of the free world.

Thank you for being willing to reach out to the opposite party in the spirit of a stronger America.

Thank you for all the sleepless nights you spend worrying about our troops overseas.

Bless your for having the courage to wear your love of God on your sleeve.

Most of all thank you for defeating the traitorous Hanoi John Kerry in the last election so he is not in the position of betraying our great country again.

I am what Republicans were. I believe in a balanced budget, limited nation building, protecting our country (including our borders and ports), meeting our basic obligations to protect Social Security, Medicare and rebuild our infrastructure so we can pass along to our children the benefits we received. I see none of that in the current conservative Republican agenda. It is simply gimme gimme gimme to the wealthy and the hell with everything else. I don't believe in new social programs but do believe in the basics of a retirement system, health-care, education and not passing on large debt to our children and grandchildren. That is not what the Bush policies value!

I also want to thank Bush. Although he is not perfect (who is? "Jean Kerri?") and he does many things with which I disagree, I still respect him.

How can you respect someone who is supporting policies that do not benefit the American people?

well it seems we do agree on a few things gene, I too dislike the huge deficit, as for nation building I look at it as liberating millions of downtrodden peoples, I agree we NEED to rotect our borders better. We disagree on the gimmee gimmee stance you have taken, even if you cannot admit it, the tax CUTS are for everyone and did help relieve the recession that started on clintons watch, social security was NEVER met to be the only source of retirement. read the act from fdr's days. as for debt, I agree we should not pass on debts to our grandkids, but such is the way of the world and the s.s. crunch started well before Bush took office. I hope this is informative and concise enough gene.

The tax cuts for the middle income taxpayer were good. The tax cuts for the top 5% we can not afford. We are 675 Billion short. Who do you expect will pay this? If the economy has recovered as Bush tell us, then our budget should be balanced. If it is not and we must spend at the current levels, we need more revenue.

and some people still maintain that this isn't a right wing site...hahahhahahahahhhahaaahhhahaha

You can post as can Gene and Dabe.  Moderate man is conservative.  Are you right wing as well?  Your statement indicates you are.  Welcome to the right side Darth Sidius.

I love it when you Bushies have not coherent response.

Glad you do. Since we are still waiting for one from the left.

Your president will only make me happy when he is no longer president. You are right about one thing. Nothing whatsoever will convince me that bush is anything but a dumb fucker of a wasted excuse for a human being, along with lots of his lemonhead followers.

At least he can issue intelligent responses to the left.  You still have yet to learn how to think, much less issue intelligent responses.

I'm sure it would make drag happy if this is, in fact, 100% rightie site, and myrrander, COL, reiki, me, etc. just leave. Then he and the rest of you blindly jingoistic followers could just revel in your multitudes of misinformation and lies and bullshit. Dream on......

Reiki is left?  Reiki is an effing Homophobe nazi lunatic!  If you want to claim him, go right ahead!  It fits with the left's bigotry anyway!

You talk about points as if they really mean anything. In fact, they're meaningless. Except to the point whores.

So what kind are you?  Oh, yea, A Boxer one!  let the kiddies die just to suit your nasty agenda!  Way to go!  You won, children lost, and you are reveling in it!  Wow!  remind me never to send my kids to the Dabe Day Care and Chemical only child care.

I agree, but if we start "selective taxing" we are on the road to socialism.
