Here's another more recent one that deels somewhat of proof of negotiations.

Even Kerry has already broke his promise of working with the Pres.

If perchance you are refering to the Senate Confirmation Hearings then you are sadly mistaken, and even if not you are still mistaken. Kerry promised to "work with" the Pres. not vote for everything he wants because he is the President.

If dubya even TRIED to work with the opposition he would have accomplished something in his first term. Instead nothing was done. His far right wing agenda is not in favor with the majority . (hence the word FAR). First of Dr.Guy, the Democrats supported NCLB, they don't however support how the President has gone about enforcong it.

Their fault then since Teddy pretty much wrote it. But it does prove the point. He has tried to work with them, and gotten spat on for his efforts. The hate and vitriol in Congress is worse than at any time in recent memory, and it is all coming from the left.

Please show me where I questioned your 'fact'?  Howabout I took it off into another direction.  As in why should we be surprised that the Democrats are not going to work with Bush in his second term when they refused to in the first as well?  It has already started with Dr. Rice's confirmation hearings, and Boxer, the biggest liar on the hill, calling Rice one.

No that's not what I said, I said very clearly Dems supported the bill, not how the President acted on the bill.

All I can say is Bush has made mistake and these mistakes cause death.. but then again the nature of war is sick and twisted period.. All I ever wanted was for the dems and the reps to step up to the plate and ADMIT MISTAKES ARE MADE on both ends of the political spectrum.
