America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
They will hand Hillary the Presidency
Published on October 24, 2007 By Moderateman In Politics

The hypocrisy of the religious right knows no boundaries. They insinuate themselves in the Republican party like a cancer invades the body of a healthy man, slowly they rot the body from within. They are the equal of the lunatic far left in every way, just as nuts, just as damaging to the American process. Hey Religious right, not everyone is a Christian, not everyone wants to be a Christian, you do more to push away conservative thinkers than any other part of the republican party with your ridiculous demands.

While I admit you have a fair amount of power in the party, to say you will not support the apparent front runner Rudy Giuliani because of his pro-choice stance shows how shallow you really are, all you do by this is hand the Presidency to Hillary, who is also pro-choice BTW, this is like cutting off your nose because something smells bad, an incredibly stupid things to do.

Your actions make me ashamed to be a Republican. Your smug faces make me want to slap them. Your holier than thou attitude does not reflect what I know of Jesus the man, it reflects someone so full of themselves and the power they wield.

I have to agree...I've never been a fan of religious fanatics, especially when they start dictating how we're supposed to live when they show no signs of having those particular morals that they preach with such ferocity.

IN a normal year, I would say you have a fear.  But Hillary is such that I think most will swallow their pride and vote for Rudy.  It is not so much they like him, but fear her more.

I think Rudi will make a good President, anyone will be better than Hillary, who in MY OPINION will destroy America, She has a progressive agenda and is easy to lead around by her nose, anybody that is terrified by Fox news is not someone I want to lead the country. She has been bought and paid for by the likes of the Daily Kos, The Smirking Chimp, moveon.org and the worse of all George Soros, who is not even an American Citizen. Plus she is sneaky and will make the Bush white house look like an open book, the Clinton white house was more closed than Bushes ever was, but somehow everyone seems to have forgotten that. She is paranoid and thinks everyone is out to "get her"

Did anyone else listen to Glen Beck yesterday?

He talked about a book called the Naked Communist.

Sadly a vote for Hillary is a vote for Socialism (or better yet Stalinism)!

AD, It is always that for some people.

But I agree with MM. WHile I do not agree with Rudy on the Abortion issue, I like his stands on most issues, and think he will make a strong leader. If he gets past the primaries that is. I am still backling Fred, but then he has not done much to build a momentum.

The knock on Fred is that he is lazy, so far he is proving it.

I think fanaticism in any form is abhorrent!

I am still backling Fred,

Please don't say you mean Fred Thompson, the actor. If he wins, I'm moving to Mexico.

Bill Richardson for President!!

MM,

Whew! Someone's dander is up! Feeling a bit intolerant, are you?

You must be talking about Dr. James Dobson and the remarks he's been making lately on the talk radio circuit and Fox Cable.

I agree with him on this point. If Rudy gets the nod, I won't vote for him solely becasue of his pro-abortionism. Not only Rudy, but any one who is pro-abortion. I see my vote as being complicit in the evil. I've already said it though long before Dr. Dobson.

I guess that makes me one of those 'religious right' people that makes you sick. So be it.

The hypocrisy of the religious right knows no boundaries. They insinuate themselves in the Republican party like a can

Ah, MM, there is absolutely no hypocrisy of the religious right in their stance against abortion...and that of the Republican Party. Look up the Republican Party's platform and you'll see it's PROLIFE.

They insinuate themselves in the Republican party like a cancer

I don't know you very well. Have you had this high horse, haughty-taughty, small thinking attitude very long? I thought the Republican Party was big-tent type of thinking.

While I admit you have a fair amount of power in the party, to say you will not support the apparent front runner Rudy Giuliani because of his pro-choice stance shows how shallow you really are,

We agree that pro-life conservatives are a good size share of the voting block..and trashing us the way you have here isn't going to work or help.

Get used to it, some people have principles over party and conscience over the "present political moment". God and His laws come before a political event or party. I'd rather please God than man anyday. If that makes you want to slap my face, then so be it. Here is the other side of my cheek.
