America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
WE can see his glaring Mistakes
Published on June 1, 2007 By Moderateman In Republican

While I have lost faith with President Bush, I refuse to play the piling on game I see going on here recently.

I keep firmly in mind that if not for the total lack of support from the Democrats and the blood lust of the Main Stream Media in all its forms, frothing at the mouth to quickly shout to the world each and every mistake Bush has made, small, insignificant, large, terribly impact-full the world view of the President would not be quite as awful as it is.

Yes he is stubborn, some could call it a man of conviction. Yes he had made terrible mistakes in the Iraq war, refusing to put enough "boots on the ground at the start, but as always hindsight is 20/20.

This Immigration bill for me was the final nail in Bushes coffin, but it is personal for me, I remember stories from my mom and dad about how hard things were for them when they came to America, how difficult it was to learn English. But to see members of America demand that Bush round up 12 million Illegal Aliens and deport them is so unreasonable and would cripple the justice system and I do mean cripple it, is a bad joke. So is offering them Amnesty.

But I will not trash Bush, I will not call My president a moron nor will I allow my words to be picked up by the enemies of our country and used as more propaganda.

MM, they also set many traps. They knew he wouldn't support their withdrawl bill.

I too still stand by our president. It may not be as proudly but he is our president whether we like him or not I will continue to have respect for his position for the next 1.5yrs.

If it weren't for this great country's freedoms the Main Stream Media would be held for treason (just look at Venezuela). The demo rats seem to have forgotten who the enemy is (note: it's not Bush).

With regards to the war. I agree we didn't come in with a blitzkrieg tactic to come in and dominate or any other aggressive strategy. As you said, hind sight is 20/20 and so many are quick to play monday quarterback but so few want to start at gametime.

To me it really seems that so many have put Bush in the position of an all powerful god.

He was responsible for Katrina and Rita.
He was responsible for birth control failure.
He is responsible for oil prices.
He is responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
He is responsible for global warming.
He is responsible for the economy.
He is responsible for the failed peace in Israel.
and on and on.

But what I find humorous is as they put him in this elected position and have elevated him to an all powerful god that blame him for being incompetent.

I can hardly wait for Bush to be out of Office, then we will see who gets blamed for all things bad next, notice with the economy at its best since the creation of statistics no mention is ever allowed to escape about that.

One would think that Bush makes all the decisions by himself, with no Congress. He just does what he wants without congressional permission, yet it is always Blame Bush, blame Bush, where is the entire Congress responsibility for this mess we are in>?

I am disappointed with him, but then that is not new.  I have been against NCLB and immigration before it suddenly became (again) a hot topic.  I will not say he is a disaster, but I will not say he has been great either.  IN some respects, he has been and continues to be great.  But his willingness to not make waves with a press and opposition that only want blood does not win him votes from his base or me.

If the democrats could field a decent candidate, I would seriously look at voting that way.  However, as bad as Bush has been, the sad fact is that the democrats that are currently in the lead are far worse.

I think both parties are trying to field a decent candidate. How about Fred Doc.?

You can rise above this all you want, babes, I'm LIVID. I've supported Bush on many of his unpopular policies, but this one takes the cake and it will RUIN the Republican Party's chance of winning anything in 08.

Very much agreed.

Fred Doc? never heard of him.

But if you mean Thompson, he is my man right now.

Sorry MM, but I am FURIOUS with GW at the moment.

as am I whip, but like I said I feel it is a slap in the face for every Legal immigrant that has come to America.

If you read I said that this Immigration bill was the final nail in the coffin of Bush for me, the bill stinks to high heaven and to question my patriotism because I disagree with the bill is a slap in my face.

I just refuse to keep piling on Bush, as I find it disrespectful to THE OFFICE of the President, something the Democrats and the MSM have seem to forgotten. Hate the man, RESPECT THE OFFICE.

I understand your anger Sabrina, I really do, but again hate the sin {immigration/Amnesty Bill} not the sinner. If we as American cannot respect the Office of the President how can we ever hope to have other countries show respect?

Unless the Democrats can come up with a candidate that is not a LIBERAL LOON, I will never vote for them, The worse Republican is better than the best of the democrats.

I can support him, although he is a little more liberal on the social side for me. Mitt is a good man as well. McCain has shot himself too many times for me to want to support. Of the rest of the field, I like Tancredo the best, but unless they can pull some support from somewhere, I dont see any other candidate surviving past January.

McCain is done, thru, over, or as they say in much cooler circles, "SO FIVE MINUTES AGO!"

Mitt is going to have this Mormon Problem, As much as I like Mitt, I am afraid that the maistream Christians {whatever that means} will not get behind mitt.
Giuliani, is a tad to liberal on socila Issues for me too, since I have become more conservative, {NO NOT NEO_CON} True conservitive. BUT I would rather see him in office than the trash CALLED HLLARY OR OSAMA BIN OBAMA who are both Liberal loons make President.
on Jun 01, 2007
I fail to see what's incorrect in talking about all the myriad things he's done horribly, horribly wrong.

He is a moron. Why do I not feel bad about calling him that?

Because the neocons continue to call others morons. Tit for tat. Simple as that. If he could actually speak with some semblance of coherence, maybe I'd be a little more reticent to call him moron.

Since the word describes him on so many levels, I have no qualms with calling him one.

and I thank you for giving an example of total disrespect for the Office.

Try to keep in mind he graduated with a higher GPA that your beloved Hanoi John Kerry from the same school.

Did I say I was a John Kerry fan?

I respect the office of President. However, I do not respect the man currently inhabiting the office.

Are you trying to tell me that you completely, wholeheartedly and without any namecalling supported Clinton? That you'll support the (inevitably) Democrat victor of the 2008 election?

I doubt it, with you throwing the derogative "liberal loons" left and right these days . . .

Actually, you asked the wrong person. MM did.
