America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
How can they BOTH be normal?

Since this article has engendered such passionate responces I have deleted the parts that were misinformation or misleading. Hopefully this corrected version will now open up more debate.

For the last 40 or so years homosexual activists have been striving to achieve not just acceptance, but

complete infiltration into every nook and cranny of American life.

Their way of living, they claim is just another "healthy" variation of human sexuality.

Lets look at their intrusion into schools, especially kindergarten through the 12th grade in public schools. through a deliberate plan of intimidation and propaganda they have infiltrated their way into revising history and other subjects of learning.

These activist have been very successful in Massachusetts and to a lessor degree California, Massachusetts being the only state in the union to allow homosexual marriage.

Right now in the California legislature there are three bills dealing with homosexuals.

SB1437 which demands that history and social studies be re-written to include contributions of homosexual, bisexual and trans-gender people. This will cost the state many millions of dollars to change the books involved, although I fail to see what a persons sexual preferences have to do with contributions made to anything. {sb1437 is correct, books will have to be rewritten to comply if this bill passes and will cost the state of California millions}

SOME LIBERAL TEACHERS HAVE DECIDED THE MICHELANGELO was a homosexual and are teaching this in class with no proof that he was indeed homosexual. This of course is taking place in some California schools.

Doctor Joseph Nicolosi and Elizabeth Saewyc, who is the research director for the University of British Columbia has found that the suicide among homosexuals is considerably higher that Heterosexuals.

28.4 percent of a 30,000 group study of homosexuals have tried to commit suicide against 8.2 percent of a group of 30,000 heterosexuals. With figures like this how can homosexuality be considered healthy or normal?

In closing I would like to point out my opinion. To me there is nothing normal about two men having sex and being married, same with two women. Homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt children and bring them into what I see is an abnormal environment.

Maybe the heretical teaching that Jesus was gay is a good thing for conservative Christians. Under these laws, a liberal theologian that taught that Jesus was gay couldn't very well be prevented from teaching the Bible in schools, now, could he?

(said with an EXTREMELY high level of sarcasm).

I guess I must be dense, I totally missed what point you tried to make.

isn't there other more pressing needs our politicians should be working on? Like, uh, health care? Like,uh, some elderly people having to choose to eat or take their medications? Like jobs? Like a lot of things? No, they wanna debate and go on about this?? I could care less. I'm more interested in our runaway drug problems and etc. than this.

(Heh, didn't mean to sound pissy! lol...)

but complete infiltration into every nook and cranny

stay away from my cranny!

sorry I am being facetious now!

A very touchy subject indeed. A veritable can of worms has been opened with this article.

I am not against gay people male or female generally speaking. I get along well with gay men because of the "non threatening friendship".I love the company of gay men and couples as I find they make wonderful friends and they have excellent senses of humor.

However, I have to agree with you about the kids.

Gays should not be allowed to raise kids, it is an unnatural environment for them to be in. Mans penis was designed to fit with a vagina not an anus. Penis, vagina the two go together naturally. Man fits with woman. man and man cannot produce nor can woman with woman etc. etc.

I do however have questions:-

I have always said that gay people are chemically imbalanced which results in them being gay.... also resulting in the higher suicidal rate, eg. Depression is understood to be a chemical imbalance in a large amount of cases if not all, fix the chemical imbalance - you generally fix the problem. Can this be done with gay people, has it been investigated?

My view has made me very unpopular to say the least and cost me some friendships from those that found my thoughts offensive. My thoughts were not meant to be offensive, they were just genuine questions and medically speaking they could possibly be quite valid. (I am not a doctor or scientist which is why I say possibly).

I think you are going to get a lot of response to your thread and a lot of it will probably be hostile.

Just more evidence that while they (the activists) lie about how "sexual orientation shouldn't matter", they work to make sure it's the ONLY thing that seems to matter. It reminds me of the "skin color shouldn't matter" crowd who spends all their time making sure skin color is all important in every societal decision.

I guess "what adults do in the privacy of their own bedroom" just isn't good enough anymore.

SB 1437 requires history books to be rewritten to include the contributions of homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgendered, right? And the homosexual lobby will remake as it will various historical figures to be gay whether they were or not, right?

Now, then, plugging into the teaching of a few churches nowhere near the mainstream of Christianity that teach that Christ was gay, a minister who espoused that particular belief could sue on the grounds of this particular piece of legislation because he wasn't allowed to teach about Christ as a gay man. At best it would be a political perpetual motion machine.

Well, this brings the term, "Battle of the sexes" to a disturbing new form.

Personally, I don't view homosexuality as normal. One reason why, and this is purely scientific, is that homosexuality doesn't promote survival of the species. It's just that simple, all species are meant to reproduce and homosexuality counters that. So no, it's not normal.

However, I don't care if people are homosexual. They're going to do it whether I like it or not...so I choose not to care. They can be as gay as they want, but I don't want to be forced to acknowledge that they're special. Just because someone is gay doesn't mean that they deserve preferential or special treatment and this is what they're pushing for....lots of people were gay, but does that matter? I think Isaac Newton was somewhat homosexual, correct me if I'm wrong, and we still do all his stupid calculus crap, don't we?

I don't get it...maybe I'm not supposed to...but all I know is that give me a good woman anyday, and I'll be just fine.

according to homosexuals, they are born that way, there is nothing unbalanced about it.

as for chemical treatment for homosexuals, I have no idea even if it was looked into.

it's always hard to guess what kind of article will engender hostility. I personally do not think this one will, time will tell.

sexual ORIENTATION DOES not matter when it is something against them, it only matters when they want something.

we agree completely on this, after all genesis started with ADAM AND EVE NOT ADAM AND STEVE.

They can be as gay as they want, but I don't want to be forced to acknowledge that they're special

THAT'S JUST IT, THEY WANT SPECIAL TREATMENT AND THAT IS JUST WRONG.

at the same time the books are being revised are we going to be enlightened with, Albert Einstien a HETEROSEXUAL, discovered the theory of relativity?

I don't want to open a can of worms but I am against homosexuality because it is unnatural. Gays can throw bricks through my window if they like but there is no getting away from the fact that man was built by God for woman. Man was made to co-habit with woman and produce offspring. Man was not meant to sleep with man. That's base I know, but that is what goes on. I like a lot of gay people but I can't stop wondering how they would want to sleep with another man. I am not knocking them--it just seems unnatural to me because certain orifices in the body are meant for certain functions and I cringe at the thought that the function can change. Base, as I said, but I'm old-fashioned.

I have gay friends but don't admire their sexuality.

"AB1056 Provides that a student NOT VOCALLY ACKNOWLEDGING a persons sexuality is to be considered intolerant of a persons sexuality, and it will be dealt with like any other infraction of school rules."

This is the part that I don't understand,  just because I don't say something acknowledging that, then I"m in trouble?  What the ---?

Makes NO sense to me at all.

I don't care what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms,  as long as it isn't involving children, animals, or anyone unwilling!  Live and let live!

Now wait a second here...am I reading this correctly?

A student has to vocally acknoledge someone's sexuality...is that all the time?

So, conversations will be like this in school now.

"Hey, heterosexual Dan, how was your day?"
"Oh, it was alright heterosexual Amy, how are you?"
"Fine, thanks for asking, heterosexual Dan. I was talking to bisexual Tina and homosexual Steve earlier and they're unhappy about heterosexual teacher's assignment."

Seriously, is that going to happen? Because you can say goodbye to quick text messaging now.
