America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

My Treo blew up on me around 3 weeks ago and while getting a new cellphone I dumped sprint too.

I hated sprint because I live in the boonies and the signal was always weak and I dropped at least one in three calls sometimes two in three.

I bought the moto razor this time and switched to cingular. I love this phone and love the blue tooth set up more! I always have a strong signal now and as of today have not dropped a single call!

We just dropped Cingular. I live in Louisiana and they have had a serious problem with their tower software since the hurricanes last year. The towers were unable to hand off an inprogress call to the next tower. There were also many issues with the GSM service.

We switched to AllTel last week. At first glance the service and equipment seem good. Although, they are still using CDMA technology. Battery life seems to be the only drawback now.

Have you setup the Motorola software on your PC? I love it! I have it integrated with my Outlook calander and contacts(I don't need mobile email so the treo is overkill). You can also transfer all multimedia items to and from the phone.

We have Verizon, and have not been disappointed with the reception, or the service.  I did not go with the Razr, just a Blue tooth (my wife uses it, I dont).

I have TMobile because they allow you to break the contract (and it's cheap).

I had Cingular, and I HATED THEM. Terrible customer service, crappy pricing and fees. Yuck. Hope you have better luck.

Our phone is old and beat all to hell. I'm going to replace it soon. It's not even a flip phone which everyone in the entire world has now. I don't really care about how it looks, but it's getting close to retirement.

The Razrs are cute, but I don't really have any need for one. I'm not Paris Hilton.

I was going to go with verizon if my 30 day trial period with cingular was a bust, as it is I am happy with cingular now, plus almost everyone I talk to has cingular so I get lots of no minute conversations.

I just switched to cingular from sprint. Not that I was all that unhappy with sprint in general, though when I got away from the city it sometimes had connection issues. Main reason I switched was my company didn't have an account with sprint, and I am getting them to pay for my phone now. Crackberry away!

that was my problem with sprint too, at home or at myy brothers I has either one bar or 1/2 bar, with cingular I am having no problems. The price one pays for living in the boonies.

Just don't drop that RAZR Mod. 9 times out of 10 that breaks em.

I have a Blackberry (AKA Crackberry) 7105, and my service is through T-Mobile. I WAS a Verizon customer for 7 years, until they finally pissed me off.

I still have my trusty reg phone, it's small, just not a flippy! My husband and daughter has flip phones with camera. Mine doesn't have that.

I have Virgin mobile, they have T-mobile. Must be something about the mobiles we love eh?!LOL!

I've heard nothing good said about Cingular (and Verizon) too Elie. Everyone who has had the service never have something nice to say. I hope your experience is better.

That is why we have Verizon. My Wife's SIL works for them, so half the family is por nada!

Great minds think alike!

May I ask what they did? (Since I am a customer, and have been for 2.5 years now). Just so I can look out for it.

Mine is a Nokia. No flip, but works great. Service is Bell Cellular (Canada). Ninety percent of the time I've a great signal, until I'm on a long trip and have to go off the beaten path. Once you're out of their service corridor it can get pretty dicy.

Also, I do the prepaid service. No contracts, stop at any time, the way I like it.

I'll be writing a quick article soon with a short review of my new toy, I mean phone. It's a Cingular 3G phone. That narrows the possibilities pretty severely at present More info in an article on my page soon.

They gave my call info to the government without a court order. Me and approximately 7 million other Verizon users.
