America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
SIMPLE SOLUTIONS

There is a reason for the energy crunch and it sure ain't Bush!

There is a reason we have not built new nuclear power plants in the last 35 years, and it sure ain't Bush!

There is a reason we have not built new refineries to make gas in the last 35 years and it sure ain't Bush!!

It's called the Democratic parties constant obstruction of anything that might help the countries energy crunch.

Liberal greenpeaces more worries about a spotted owl than Americans.

Liberal save the earth while people starve.

All of Americas ills can be placed at the feet of liberals and there silly "we know whats best" attitude.

You're the one who's acting as if you somehow got yourself removed and then excepted again. You're the one who seems to have some in here dislike you. You picked a Bush article to proclaim your return with Admin permission instead of making your own article which you are now free to make. Sounds kinda a dumb move to me, but that's just my opinion. It's not smart to anounce yourself to the world that "I am here whether you like it or not" as you first words on someone elses blog. Talk about a bad first impression, I don't know you and did a great job at making me dislike you already. Gotta wonder why you find people here so hostile.

I have come to a similar conclusion. If you came to interst why all the other stuff? Just doesn't add up.

I can't help but respond back to people the same way they begin a conversation. If you rude, rude with be my response. I'm not a cruel or hostile person, I can be quite nice most of the time.

you are most welcome here "dick" although normally I am not so welcoming to "dicks" being all hetro and all.

Reply By: Dick GozinyaPosted: Friday, April 28, 2006We Americans are spoiled when it comes to gasoline prices. We're so used to being "special" that we get all kinds of upset when things don't go our way. Everyone else in the world pays twice as much (if not more) than we do for gas, yet we scream the loudest when we start feel the pinch too.

why yes, yes we are and maybe its because we use {gluttons} 2 hundred barrels a day. WE need to cut back!

stupid edit button still does not work I meant 200 million barrelas a day.

It's ironic, Cuba and Mexico both drill in the Gulf of Mexico freely, with no eco-nazis screaming at them, but if the evil U.S. dares to drill there, then it has to come with a million regulations.

add china to that list, they are dickering with fidel the darlin of the left to drill in cuban waters.

Oh, but if you only had a clue as to what you were talking about, this might make sense. For your edification, young man, I have had a grand total of 4 people here attack me everywhere I've left a remark over the past two weeks, thinking I was someone else. Since several of them are participating on this thread (or are sure to read it) I just wanted to let them know that I have been "cleared" by the administrators of this site.

Don't knock it 'till you've tried it, ! (just kidding)

Thanks for the welcome, ModerateMan!

find it quite remarkable that

Exxon and Chevron are ALL reporting record earnings. I believe I just heard on the Radio that Conoco-Phillips said the something regarding 4-th quarter earnings. Just irks me.

the irked Adventure Dude

And "why" should you find it remarkable? The oil companies make between 8-9 cents on a gallon of gas. That ain't much. But when you look at the demand being up and we're sucking up a bunch in a day. A barrel of oil makes "approximately" 10 gallons of gasoline. The US uses approx 200 million barrels "every day". "Now" that 9 cents is starting to add up, ain't it? It's no wonder that they're reporting record profits when we buy so much of their product.

dump the democrats to get cheaper gas would make more sense if the democrats were in power...or even close to it.

19.5 gals. of gas from a standard 42 gallon barrel of oil
on Apr 29, 2006
You want cheaper gas? Get the government to back off their 62 cent a gallon tax, or the states to back theirs down. The states run anywhere from 32 - 63 cents a gallon. With NY and CA comining in on the high end and Alaska being the lowest. Or get the green weenies to back off their BS and let us build some more refineries or to drill in places like ANWAR.
