America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
This Bush being compared to Hitler must stop!
Published on March 3, 2006 By Moderateman In Current Events
Yesterday on the news we were treated by a high school geography teacher ranting on how President Bush is following Adolph Hitlers footsteps.

He was recorded by a student in his class and has since been put on administrative leave.

This is ridiculous! We must stop these liberal teachers that are brainwashing our children.

I propose all classes be recorded so that teachers with an agenda of any kind that is not in the syllabus be dismissed.

I wonder how many of these teachers really have an idea how horrendous Hitler was?. How many of the students really grasp the atrocities Hitler committed?

This teacher was teaching a class comprised of 14 and 15 year old students.

Somehow that doesn't suprise me.

if it was a religious right teacher, teaching the bible kingbee would crap all over screaming for his immediate firing, as usual the liberals here show liberals are only liberal when you agaree with them.

Reply By: adnauseamPosted: Tuesday, March 07, 2006As a school principal in another country I wonder whether a radical teacher can pass 5 tests:- Has he/she had a psychological profile?- Is he/she more absorbed by influencing students rather than teaching?- Is he/she patriotic in any way?- Is he/she rebellious to authority?- Is he/she conservative/liberal/radical?And then comes the "Golden Rule". Fire anyone who teaches children to revolt rather than question; who instigates rather than motivates ; who influences minds rather than allowing minds to make up their own opinions.

what a perfect response, take one of my rare insightfulls,

I wonder how pro on this nutbag Myrr and King would be if he were spouting rightwing rhetoric? How capitalism is the great hope of the world, how great Bush is and how well the war in Iraq is going? The classroom can be a place for political debate and discussion, but not indoctrination.

As I said over in my own article om this subject, I have no problem with this guy having his own opinions, whether or not I agree with them.
It's the way he was propagandizing for his side by trying to brainwash kids who likely haven't the ability, knowledge or authority to oppose him. That's what I don't like.
I mean, Bennish was invited by Sean Hannity to come on his show and rant a bit, but strangely, he refused.
Uh-huh. Yep. That's a coward, in my opinion.

they would both waste no time in writing an article denouncing the offender, calling for public dismemberment, much like how we are behaving. heh heh heh

I supposed it would be ok if he recored a rightwing religious nut, right?

if you would take a lil more time while writing your articles to assemble a list of preconceived responses and then assign them numbers we could all simply enter the appropriate number and save ourselves a lotta effort and energy.

hell..since you already know what i'm gonna say, it seems likely you're able to anticipate the rest of em too.  why not just post for us and cut out the middleman (cool slogan too: moderateman cuts out the middleman) ?

i'd be willing to assume the very slight risk of you being wrong.  aint no big thing.  it's gonna happen once in a while as it did here.

a teacher of any political persuasion crosses (heh) the line by proselytizing his or her religious beliefs to students in our public school classrooms because doing so violates the spirit if not the letter of the first amendment to our constitution   to the best of my knowledge, the same amendment specifies the right of all, even teachers, to freely express political concepts and opinions; there is no constitutional limit expressed or implied.  spending valuable class time delivering political harangues--no matter which wing is favored--is very likely a violation of the teacher's terms of employment with the possible exception of those teaching poli sci classes.

as usual the liberals here show liberals are only liberal when you agaree with them.

hmmmmm based on your title and the actions you advocate in this article as well as its thread, it appears as if moderatemen are only moderatemen when they agree with you.
