Trash talking at a funeral! have they no shame?
Published on February 8, 2006 By Moderateman In Current Events
Taking the opportunity on a national set to show some class the Democrats missed their change once again.

Using Coretta Scott King's funeral to launch attacks on the President.

Ex-President Jimmy the peanut Carter compared the wire tapping of Reverend Martin Luther King in the 60's To the NSA's spying on enemies of the country, somehow jimmyboy forgot to mention that it was a DEMOCRATIC ORDER to tap king's phones, ordered by Robert F. Kennedy and approved by JFK himself. While speaking other Democratic demigods brought up the WMD"S that were not found in Iraq, again forgetting that all the Democratic leaders thought Saddam had them. Just another case of the left wing abusing a situation to show their hatred of George W. Bush. Have they no shame? This was a funeral honoring Coretta {why I have no Idea why she deserved this honor} sad how proper behavior escapes the left whenever they get a chance to show off on a national forum. Just one more time the country to see how stupid and weak the Democratic Party has become. "

It was disgusting!!! I don't want to hear one more lie about how the democrats are the party who cares about minorities after that show of total distain for the memory of Coretta Scott King.

Prs. Bush and Prs. Clinton both gave great eulogies to the woman herself, but the rest, including the so-called "Leaders fo the African-American community" did nothing but piss in her casket.

Mrs. King is in a better place now, a place where she didn't have to hear her own funeral become a political farce.

What really grips me is the thunderous applause these creeps were given, the audience showed as little class as the Democrats did, {wait, the audience was predominatly Black so they were democrats TOO}

As a Black Democrat (and I didn't hear the speech but I agree with your sentiments) I think it was despicable of them to bring up all that at Mrs. King funeral. I'm sure she wasn't too happy to hear all that too!

Your comment about why she deserve the honor Elie, she was the wife of a civil rights leader. She was the woman behind the man. She also accomplished a lot of things while she was alive.

King was a political leader and spent her life pushing a political agenda, so what better way to memorialize her than to promote some of her ideas and to point out some of the abuses of power in Washington today? I’d say it was perfectly fitting.

I agree but to have 4 presidents show up for what thousands of other people have done just seems to smacks more of guilt than real homage.

so by this standard it would have been ok to point out Clinton was impeached and got blowjobs in the oval office while he was a sitting President?

How quickly the Sheeple forget the Wellstone Memorial.  How quickly they are to repeat their own stupidity.

I'm sorry to disagree with you here, fs,

Aw that's OK Whip, we can disagree some of the time.....how else do we get to know each other uh?!

if only for letting her late husband's dream be hijacked by buffons such as Al and Jesse, the two biggest contributors to racial tension in America today.

Perhaps she should have, who knows why she never did. But I agree that they can be asses and would do well to start looking at the present and the future and stop dregging up the past. Back in the day they were relevant, now they need to change tactics and get with the times and make changes that is for the better for all of us, not just some of us.

You're probably right Elie. They probably did it out of guilt. I like to think though they did it out of respect for her.

It's just typical leftwing crap, they can defile a funeral and it's all in the name of justice and free speech, If a righty does it, it somehow becomes disrespectful and mean spirited.

was enraged like I've never been enraged before. I bit my tongue though, out of respect for my parents, who were already suffering enough, and got my revenge a few weeks later when I was asked to cook a turkey for their yearly thanksgiving get together.

I basted it in my own urine.

I can undestand your outrage, I would have been just as pissed if the Republicans showed their ass too.

MMMMMMMMMMmm urine!!! it's not just for gravy anymore!!!
