America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Published on December 1, 2006 By Moderateman In Politics

While I could on an intellectual level understand the anger from the Democrats over the last 6 years, no power, no vision {still they have no vision}, I cannot for the life of me understand why are they still pissy?

From incoming congressman webs RUDE snub of the President to infighting over Jack {quick runaway and hide Murtha}, to the infighting over Alcee{gimme money for my decisions} Hastings, The Democrats having no one on the right except the President to fight about now are turning on each other. Like a pack of rabid dogs savaging meat, I will sit back, enjoy the spectacle of the most liberal House speaker ever try to run America into the ground with higher taxes and more entitlements for people that should really learn how to take care of themselves.

After there sweeping victory in November Midterms one would think the left would calm down, but noooo.. they continue to fight, even when there is no need to.

I wonder if the left knows how lucky they are to win the way they did? They ran on the famous "we can do it better" without ever defining what "IT" is.

For at least five years all we have heard is bickering, complaining and cries of anyone but Bush, well kids now that you have won, try to at least act like adults and govern.

I think the far left in general are just miserable people.  They are usually angry at everything, and many of them will attribute it to either Bush or the government not doing enough to support them.

I find it amusing, that after the 04 loss, who gets exiled at JU?  A liberal.  After the 06 Win, who gets exiled at JU?  A liberal.

Conclusion?  Liberals and Happy are oxymorons when said in the same sentence.

Yes, I do.

1) They are human, they are just like other humans. They have ups, downs, etc...

2) I'm left wing, my gf is left wing, over 3/4ths of my friends are left wing (some democrat), and they are happy and positive people.

May not be the majority of LW/Dems, but yes, there are some.

Donws? Every day. Ups? Name them. After 04, they bitched and whined and complained. After 06, they are bitching whining and complaining. Should we give them labotomies? Maybe then they will have up days.

Silent Poet seems incapable of dealing with generalities.

That's why in the real world -- leaders almost always are conservatives. Regardless of the field -- even politics.

The reason why liberals can't get things done, even when they hold majorities, is that there are so few leaders amonst them.

Leadership requires being able to make generalizations and then dealing with the consequences of those generalizations.

There's nothing wrong with not being a leader. Most people aren't. But liberals get angry because they want their agenda to move forward but don't understand why they consistently fail to move their agenda forward.

Once in awhile, a strong liberal leader will come forward and implement that agenda (LBJ comes to mind) and the rest of us are stuck living with the consequences for their disaster (how much has that war on poverty cost?).

Anyway, the point being, liberals believe their life view will make the world a better place but are largely incapable of doing anythign to actually achieve their objectives. That constant failure becomes frustrating and so they're angry.

The best liberals tend to be able to do is become journalists and then complain about what *other* people should be doing or shouldn't be doing.
