America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
The only applause they can get is when they applaud themselves

Although I understand how disheartened and how badly the DEMOCRATS are in disarray one could only feel sorry for the idiots
that not only continue to obstruct but stood in the middle of the State of the Union address to applaud themselves for doing what? Obstructing once again something that NEEDS to be addressed, IE: the repair of Social Security.

Leading the pack of snarling Dogs with a big stupid grin on her face was of course the front runner for President in 2008 Shrillary Clinton.

I agree the being at odd with the President is not a bad thing, but to blatantly Disrespect the office of the President on a feed that will be shown world wide shows once again the total lack of regard the Democrats have for anyone but themselves.

This is the Party that wants to lead the United States into the 21st century? HA! I would rather be led by the ayatollahs of Iran, at least with them you know where you stand.

Democratic party of America? you disgust me!

Meh, if Hillary wins she'll probably slap a helmet on Chelsea and put her in charge of the war in Iraq.

The losers last night were that American People. Bush gave answers to major issues that are not solutions. Answers to energy that are decades off. Health care options that people who need then can not afford. Support for making his tax cuts permanent and insuring this country will never have a balanced budget. His speech was to and for his base-- the Haves and the Have Mores. It provided nothing for the majority and ignores the needs of the American family. He talked about the need for education while he is cutting the funding for student loans and has under funded his No Child Left Behind Act by over $20 Billion dollars since that law was passed. He says we NEED to protect our borders and refuses to include the money needed to hire the border guards. Without these added guards the talk about providing border security is JUST TALK. He said American worker will be competitive on the world stage but fails to propose a single way that will happen. There was no talk about how the increase in the National debt will impact the future and NO way will he meet his commitment to reduce the deficit in half by 2009. The deficit projection for 2006 is about $ 600 Billion not counting the Social Security and Medicare Surplus. He talked about the impact of the baby boomers on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid but the only suggestion would have made Social Security more in debt by diverting younger workers taxes from meeting the baby boomer retirement payments. He added $60 Billion per year to the demands on Medicare with NO FUNDING. He has cut Medicaid funding at the Federal level and placed the added burden on the states. He has failed to address the most basic needs of the Gulf rebuilding including making the levies comparable of withstanding a Cat. 5 storm. He offers low interest loans to people that lost everything for rebuilding their homes. HOW are these people to repay these loans? HOW DID BUSH say ANTYTHING that will help solve our problems?

If this is his LEADERSHIP, we need a NEW LEADER! His leadership does not warrent respect!

Oddly, when Clinton gave his wife the job of reform, someone with no political power at all and no business doing anything but having teas for dignitaries, no one said much.
C'mon, Baker, all hell broke loose when she proposed universal health care.

I know, but I don't think there was as much uproar as there should have been when he put the white glove and home decoration department in charge of reforming health care...
