America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

When released from the hospital after a long stay his broken body needed more time to heal before he got back into the game.

He had some serious money saved so he bought himself a bluebird ½ bus , loaded up some supplies and headed south for some much needed healing.

Before he left the city he stopped and looked up a couple he knew, that had promised him a dog, the litter was about eight months old now and he thought he needed a traveling companion. As he looked at the litter he was amazed how large the puppies were, the bitch was a pure breed cream colored Belgium Shepard , the sire was an Alaskan wolf that got to her while they were working on the Alaskan pipeline.

So dog in hand knockaround left New York city for greener pastures.

Slowly he made his way to Florida, his body constantly racked with pain that only eating large amounts of drugs could curb, so he could concentrate on driving.

Knockaround needed to get his body back in peak shape as he has some revenge to attend to, he was in no rush to leap headlong into harms way, time was on his side.

Florida in the late 60,s was a haven for freaks and geeks as knockaround called them, he always thought of them as the great unwashed.

He started growing his hair out so to fit in a little better, his bus was his new home and he already knew it would take at least a year to get his body together.

He started living clean, no women, no booze and limited drugs mostly for the pain, he worked his body with no mercy, lifting weights, running and working Kata's for about six hours a day, seven days a week. All knockaround had on his mind was getting even with the man that shot him, time passed and the dog grew at one year old the dog was around 115 pounds and had paws as large as knockarounds hands, when wet the dog smelled, not like a dog but something more feral, other dogs steered clear of Tolkien they would tuck there tails between there legs and whimper, Tolkien was indeed the perfect companion for knockaround.

More time passed it was now more than 18 months since knockaround was knocking at deaths door, his body was now lean and hard as nails his body fat was like that of an athlete around 4and 1/2% he is ready now, Payback time!

...AND THEN????????????????????????//
What a great autobiographical, (if I remember right from past comments) this is turning into, and I am so touched by this Knockaround guy.
Seeing the world through his eyes. Feeling what he felt. Watching where life took him, how he felt about it. Now, I'm panting (yes panting!) to find out what happens next. Man, I'm struck by the singlemindedness of knockaround. If I had met him, I think all I would of said is: "whoooah",and then "um, hi, how are ya?." Right before I turned as quick as I could to leave. Not because I would have been afraid, but because I believe I would have sensed the intensity and been drawn to it. This is huge for an untrusting soul as myself. Not to be snobish, but most people leave me bored. (no offense to anyone-it's just the weird way i am, in other words, it's my quirk) Not knowing who this person knockaround was, I would have been leary, but drawn as well. People with intensity and intellegence such as knockaround, pull at my intrest and my need to know them. Yet, in this day and age, as a woman, one would have to be careful. All that said, I think I would have liked this knockaround. I believe I would have liked him very much. I already like him through what I have read and have come to know thorugh these mini bits of the story. okay. Full Circle....AND THEN???????
