America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Another peace making move By George Bush
Published on October 3, 2005 By Moderateman In US Domestic
In another reaching out to the never satisfied left wing, President Bush once again shows his greatness by choosing a candidate that will be satisfactory to the lunatic fringe and the center of the Republican party.

By choosing Miers, President Bush is hoping to heal some wounds in America and American politics.

Once again President Bush shows his willingness to compromise, a trait that has thus far eluded the left wing.

By linking the above link you will see impeccable credentials, a long distinguished career, not only in private practice but experience in the internals of the American government.

Will anyone from the left be satisfied with this choice? Only time will tell. Somehow I think not ,as the left is never satisfied nor willing to understand how great George Bush truly is.

harry reid himself said that Miers would be a just dandy choice and acceptable to the left. now we shall see if the left agrees. I am
betting they do not agree.

Bush should have went with a super conservative to set the tone for the next 20 years.

Common sense of the President? It shows the continuing idiocy of the so called "conservatives" that blindly support Bush in that the left cannot be placated. STOP TRYING. You guys think you are outmaneuvering the left when you support things like this. All you accomplish is moving "conservatism" further to the left. You're being hoodwinked. And even worse, you think you're doing it to them.

A compromise is when both sides come to an agreement by foregoing some of their own desires. Acquiescence is when one side gives in and the other side does not reciprocate. You yourself state that the left is never satisfied. So how is Bush showing greatness by being "willing to compromise" as you say? That's a sign of stupidity, not greatness.

Yes, I also noticed an article you wrote on the side menu that says "Starve a LIBERAL instead of Terry Schiavo." The "Moderate" is slightly transparent. There's nothing wrong with being conservative. Claiming to be moderate won't win you converts on the left.

I think it's high time we put aside partisan crap and go for the best candidate.

The partisan crap nowadays stems from which liberal infighting. The liberal Democratic Party seek race destructively towards the left, while the G.O.P. prefers to take their time going there.

I say imo that reaching out to mend fences is a good thing, and shows that bush indeed in a uniter not a divider.
