America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Blacks are every bit as racist as whites are.

I am so tired of every time someone points out a black doing anything, they get leaped all over and called racist, well not every person that mentions the word black is a racist I know I am not.

The overuse of blacks of the race card is getting tiresome.

There are just too many examples to point out so I am not going to cite any.
Surely if I do someone will be quick to point out how racist that is, or what a closet racist I am.

MOST of the looting in New Orleans was done by blacks {fact} pointing this out is just calling it like it is, not some kind of vast white right wing conspiracy.

I see plenty of black racism that no one dares point out because it ain't politically correct to do so.

This crying racist is going the way of the boy that cried wolf.

I had my ass handed to me in Harlem for the crime of www.. {walking while white} what was I doing in Harlem? I lived there is what.

I was robbed at gunpoint by blacks while having my store open in Oakland California that just loved taunting me with racial slurs while they were taking a money donation from me at gunpoint. Am I to assume from that 2 instances {new york and 3300 miles away in Oakland that all blacks are thugs and thieves? nope I do not.

Are all blacks racist? I think not, well neither are whites all racist either.

I have been called in my life "dirty Jew" by both whites and blacks "Jesse Jackson called new york city, Jew york city where was the outrage then? The leader of the black Muslim nation Louis farrakhan is an out and out Jew hater, a white hater too, why are these two not mentioned when racism is being talked about?

Before you "african americans" throw stones
take a look at you own behavior, and the general behavior of your own people.

ALL racism is wrong and must be fought against. On this site I have not seen evidence of 'black racism', only from the white side, that's probably why its not talked about here.

The knee-jerk branding of an idea as racism is just as stupid and thoughtless as racism. Both seek to marginalize and negate someone because of pre-concieved notions. Silencing people isn't the way to deal with racism.

No offense, but you are living in lands taken from it's previous residents because your nation considers itself "God's Chosen People". I wouldn't start casting stones about race, Mano.

But like racism, mano, that is a matter of degrees. Sure, you oppose FURTHER land grabs, but many rate the existance of Israel as one big land grab.

That's my point, which you aren't getting. "Zionism" varies by degrees, as racism. You feel justified to draw lines in teh sand, and others feel justified to point out that the majority of looters were black.

Before you start limiting people's ability to voice their opinions, I suggest you look to how much of your very existance relies upon hotly-debated opinion.

LOL. Sorry, I just see a lot of irony in someone living in Israel imposing their definition of racism on other people. If anyone, on the face of the earth, should understand how relative concepts of racism can be, it should be Mano.

You can't "eliminate" racism if you can't even define it without abusing and marginalizing people.

yeh and any one that fought with the roman legions we should get there country too. and Egypt, they owe me a lot of money because my people were slaves and built there civilization. and the Germans owe me personally too and the Russian. yes the whole world hates JEWS that much is obvious to me because of history, the genocide, the pogroms the ghettos we had to live it, the confiscation of all land and property by the Spanish. The burning of Synagogues in America the terrorist that target Jews, is there anyone black, white, christian, Muslim that has not killed maimed stole from just because we are Jewish?

agreed, glad I gave ya a smile on a real touchy subject.

The point is not everything said by every white is a racist statement.

Racism, to me, is viewing another person as inferior or "lower" or assigning negative traits to him (based on his race) without actually knowing him.

Is it racism to point out the race or skin color of someone who has done something awful or committed a crime (or conversely, done something amazing or wonderful or kind)? No, not really. I notice the color of people's skin just as an aesthetic thing. When I describe a person to someone else, I might mention the color of the individual I'm describing's skin.

It becomes racism when the pointing out of race or skin color is used to make assumptions about a race (a Jewish business owner overcharges his customers = all Jews are greedy) or to imply that a race is inferior or uniformly has negative traits (Hispanic people are thieves. It's just the way they are. Lock up your jewelry when your friend Maria comes to visit.).

I think we all have areas that we need to work on as far as racism goes. We need to work toward eliminating the presumptions and try to treat everyone with as much kindness as our relationship with them warrants. I am still have a long way to go in learning not to prejudge and stereotype others. I am not blameless.

and the general behavior of your own people

This demonstrates nicely what I'm talking about. "You" people. Blacks are not a collective. They don't have weekly meetings wherein they decide what all blacks should do and what type of attitude they should have for the week.

Black people, like Jewish people and Caucasian people and Hispanic people and Asian people, etc. are individuals. I don't know how fair or correct it is to assign "general behavior" to a race of people.

Not to pick on ForeverSerenity, but she is a well known black woman here on JU. She shows respect for herself and others. She is kind, bright, and informed. She doesn't slander other people because of their race, nor does she "play the race card".

How fair is it to hold her accountable for the actions of people who happen to share her race or skin tone? Should she be responsible for controlling the actions of people she has never met?

How fair is it for her to have to sort through oodles of articles on JU criticizing her by race for things that she has absolutely nothing to do with nor any control over?

Racism hurts wonderful people like ForeverSerenity. Why contribute to that?

Thank you Tex.

all the use of looking to your own people means is see what your own does before throwing stones tex.

Like I pointed out there are two prime examples of black racisim towards white and Jews, then I said that even with these examples that I do not think all blacks are racist.
