August 15th, 16th and 17th. the actual concert, I started on the 13th and ended on the 18th.

The rain made it miserable, the lack of toilets made it dangerous, the amount of drugs could have stoned out most of todays new youk city. heh

Where else could you ever imagine this many great bands in one place?

When woodstock kicked off I had been growing my hair for 3 years, from a brushcut to about 2 feet long. sigh.

My wife and I were talking about this last night as I watched some of woodstock the film.

Memories came rushing back and I decided to write a little about this.

This was a time when a person could be as indiscriminate sexually as they wanted, there was nothing a 4 day trip to the shot doc, could not fix.

I have been to a number of concerts in my life, but this one is the single greatest concert of all times.

The estimate of how many people that attended ranged from 250,000 all the way to 400,000, who knows for sure?

The bulk of the people there did NOT have tickets, gate crashers but no one really cared.

I cannot for the life of me remember the farmers name in bethel that let us use his 600 acre dairy farm, but bless you dude.

This time was truly a time when SEX, DRUGS AND ROCK&ROLL Ruled...........
