America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
When will we stop being politically correct?
Published on July 27, 2005 By Moderateman In War on Terror
I have been giving thought to the good racial profiling will do.

When will America stop doing the wrong thing, which is being politically correct, and see the wisdom of sound racial profiling?

We are in a fight for our very existence, a fight with a people of no conscious, willing to MURDER children, innocent women and men just because they happen to be “western”.

Lets face it except for a few non- Islamic terrorist, the bulk of the terrorist fit a certain description, Arabic, Muslim middle eastern in origin.

All over America we are stopping blacks, whites, Latino Middle aged women and men to search them for explosives, exactly how many people have been found to be carrying bombs and homicide bomber vests that are NOT Arabic Muslim terrorist? None to my knowledge.

We should tell our representatives in the Senate and congress that we are tired of political correctness and the proper way to protect us is to start with profiling Muslims that are of middle eastern extraction.

No longer should we wave through an obvious Arab to search Mary O’Connor, an obvious white woman that is 80 years old so we do not offend the Arabs.

To let an Arab through then search a 280-pound Black lady is the height of folly and yet we do this daily.

If we as Americans do not smarten up and start coming down on the ones that are terrorist or fit the profile of a terrorist we are doomed to failure in the war on terrorism.

Before anyone starts hollering that this is a racist statement, stop and see the wisdom of my words here, try not to knee jerk and scream how unfair racial profiling is, compare racial profiling to the horrors these monsters are perpetrating first.

We should start by having federal agents infiltrate mosques and just listen to what is being said there.

Enact some laws making it a federal offense to preach violence in any form against anyone.

It’s time to wake-up America, close the borders make it a federal offense to come to America illegally.

really? Why do I have a hard time imagining this?

Actually the INS knows this and that is the process in LA. I think kb alluded to it, but I saw the report as well.

your telling me the law knows where phoney papers are being printed, forged, whatever, and they let it continue?

They know that illegal drugs are being sold in LA too, but they cannot stop it either. Knowing it is happening is not the same as knowing how to stop it.

here's the worst part. i didnt find out about this til i'd expended a considerable amount of time and effort (not to mention the risks involved) acquiring more than one birth certficate issued to kids who died shortly after being born during the same year as me.

Why dont you post relevant articles, like the Norwegian grandmother who strapped a bomb to herself and blew up a train?

it may not be a norwegian grandmother. may not be an eskimo or a yanomami or a masai...this time. sooner or later it's gonna be someone who looks like family. so go head on wichyo 'aint nuthin aint already happened ever gonna happen' self. i have no doubt bin laden is bankin on yall buyin into your own assumptions.

Heh, so are you saying it was a good thing that they took me out of the line and wanded and searched me when I went through security to see someone off in jeans and a tank top and flip flops with my two little children in tow?

Of course...we all remember what happened on Collateral Damage...mammas with kids and toys are bad news...

Hehe.

Seriously, though, I think vigilance is important and complacency and confidence are dangerous. Sure, keep a closer eye on those who fit the "profile." Take extra care with those guys. But don't forget to keep an eye out for something out of the ordinary. Go ahead and wand me. I like it.

My objection to racial profiling is more a protest against the climate and the attitude that necessitates it. I personally find it repulsive that someone should be treated with suspicion and be given a more difficult time just because they were unfortunate enough to be born into a group that has extreme members blowing shit up.

But it is undeniable that those blowing shit up have thus far tended to be middle eastern muslims. Because of this, we as a society have to sink to a lower level in the name of increased security. It's a sad and sick world we're helping to create here with the help of terrorists... but I don't have any idea how we can even begin to fix it now.

I honestly wonder how tolerant many of us would be if those crazy militia people in the midwest started blowing federal buildings up and as a result white males were profiled and targeted for the same security checks. Would we be as accepting of the same treatment?
