When will we stop being politically correct?

I have been giving thought to the good racial profiling will do.

When will America stop doing the wrong thing, which is being politically correct, and see the wisdom of sound racial profiling?

We are in a fight for our very existence, a fight with a people of no conscious, willing to MURDER children, innocent women and men just because they happen to be “western”.

Lets face it except for a few non- Islamic terrorist, the bulk of the terrorist fit a certain description, Arabic, Muslim middle eastern in origin.

All over America we are stopping blacks, whites, Latino Middle aged women and men to search them for explosives, exactly how many people have been found to be carrying bombs and homicide bomber vests that are NOT Arabic Muslim terrorist? None to my knowledge.

We should tell our representatives in the Senate and congress that we are tired of political correctness and the proper way to protect us is to start with profiling Muslims that are of middle eastern extraction.

No longer should we wave through an obvious Arab to search Mary O’Connor, an obvious white woman that is 80 years old so we do not offend the Arabs.

To let an Arab through then search a 280-pound Black lady is the height of folly and yet we do this daily.

If we as Americans do not smarten up and start coming down on the ones that are terrorist or fit the profile of a terrorist we are doomed to failure in the war on terrorism.

Before anyone starts hollering that this is a racist statement, stop and see the wisdom of my words here, try not to knee jerk and scream how unfair racial profiling is, compare racial profiling to the horrors these monsters are perpetrating first.

We should start by having federal agents infiltrate mosques and just listen to what is being said there.

Enact some laws making it a federal offense to preach violence in any form against anyone.

It’s time to wake-up America, close the borders make it a federal offense to come to America illegally.

This is the same situation. We know what the perps look like. So lets go after them. Yes, some innocents will be stopped and searched. That is not racist, that is simply the fact that we dont have a complete description of the perp and must guess when someone fits the description.

It is also called common sense. When a store is robbed, the police dont do random sampling to find the perp. They get a description, and then go loking for him. Due to the fact that not all descriptions are 100% accurate, some innocent people of the same race might be stopped. But if the perp was a white guy, they are not going to pull over a black guy!
This is the same situation. We know what the perps look like. So lets go after them. Yes, some innocents will be stopped and searched. That is not racist, that is simply the fact that we dont have a complete description of the perp and must guess when someone fits the description.

my point exactly, you do not stop a black woman , when the robber has been described as a white male.

When did we become so selfish?

when liberalism became vogue, along with being so concerned with P.C., it seems so much more important to not offend, that it is to defend the bulk of the population.

I sleep with loaded weapons close at hand, and am more than willing to use them.

Colleen is 5ft 2in tall, whiter than white and gets stopped regularly because she flies on buisness so much, she has told me while she is being searched for the second time, arabs are being waved through.

This alone pisses me off to the point of insanity.

agree that we should not be capriciously (without rhyme or reason) offensive to any particular racial group, but when circumstances warrant it we should not be so timid about doing what we have to do.

timid? shit the aclu has everyone in power running scared.

come to think of it, the aclu should be added to the list of people destroying america too.

Let's put it this way, let's have a section at all US airports where only people from the middle eastern countries enter through and no where else. And that's being nice, I would rather just close the door to them for a while just to show them we mean business!

In NY yesterday a double decker bus was pulled over and all the passengers searched. They only did this because of a threat they received. But imagine if this was done on a regular basis everywhere. It might delay us as we go about our daily business. But it's better to be safe than sorry. I think our folks have become too complacent recently about steps and measures they take to protect our cities and it's people.

This is one of the main goals of the terrorist, to disrupt day to day living, to cause fear and to damage the economy.

I think our real sins aren't in striving toward racial profiling as much as us trying so hard NOT to appear to be doing so. I mean, when you are cavity searching old ladies for weapons just so you won't look like you are biased, you're trying too hard to be "fair".

Why do we have this strange obsession with TOTAL COMPLETE 100% FAIRNESS FOR EVERYBODY ALL THE TIME?

When are we going to realize that not only can it not be achieved, it shouldnt be even if it were possible?

I don't have this I gotta be fair to everyone attitude I am of Turkish descent and expect to get stopped { when I could take sun I would turn black almost} I do not care about being stopped, but to stop colleen and single her out for second frisking is just plain stupid/

if i were osama bin laden, i'd be actively soliciting white lil ol ladies from the balkan states...or hiring white 'mules' (telling them they were smuggling drugs or cash) using their greed as a means to get them to unknowingly carry primed explosives for me.

I've been searched at airports because I paid cash for a ticket less than 24 hours in advance. That put my name on a list of potential suspects. I understand why I was searched so I'm not irritated even though I had a newborn baby and toddler with me. They searched me....then my kids. I coudl be pissed and say that it was stupid because I "looked" innocent, but I know I set off a warning flag. So I go with the flow.

But if a middle eastern man between 18 and 34 is waved through....hmmmm. Why not? They fit the description of active terrorists. There should be a red flag waving over them....and they should be searched...FOR THE SAME REASON I WAS SEARCHED. We both fit a certian terrorist profile. Him for his racial descent and age....me for my behavior.

Profiling is a good idea.

In general I agree with you, as long as it is done with some modicum of restraint. I do not want to see two lines at Airpoports, but there is a need to view certain passengers more closely than other.

Just look at the BBC. They refuse to call terrorists what they are, "terrorists". They are worried it will offend someone. This is where the left succeeds in helping terrorism. By promoting this "don't offend anyone" policy.

ummmm, when and if a old white or black woman gets caught killing and maiming or carrying bombs then I will be shouting for THEM to be profiled too.
