America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Texas land of idiot cops

David Neuman, jumps in a river, saves a drowning man and gets arrested for his effort.

Truth stranger than fiction, While Mr. nueman was in the water trying to rescue this man, the police finally arrive and order everyone out of the water, Mr. nueman who already knew where the man was ignored the command and continued to rescue the man.

He saved this mans life, the cops were now shouting at Nueman to recross the river and come to them, nueman was exhausted and took a minute to recover, he swam across the river to the police, where he was promptly arrested and jailed, where he spent the night till he could post a 2,000 dollar bond.

So now we set child molesters free and jail heroes?

so stupid beyond belief, and on the arrest report, no mention was made about saving a drowning man, hows that for a slap in the face?

Well, hopefully the judge will exercise more common sense than the cops did and maybe even reprimand them for being such asses.
on Jul 06, 2005
Maybe he forgot to tell the man he was saving that he had the right to remain drowning...

And the cops didn't even notice the man drowning in the river? And they just didn't even do anything to help the man trying to save the one drowning? Only assert their authority and arrest the poor man even after what he did? Wow!!!!

These cops deserve an award - the ultimate one that will really tell what they are...just trying to think of the perfect name that would be most befitting them. ....Morans of the year?

the cops showed up to rescue the man, but if not for mr, nueman the man would have drowned.
