America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
The left raises a cheer.... Death to America!!
Published on June 27, 2005 By Moderateman In Politics
Well now that we have been stripped of property rights, religion is put on the same page porn used to occupy, the left is getting exactly what is wants most.

A socialist country where rights are determined by the courts and government.
Where a small minority of people run roughshod over the many, where the life of one has no meaning, where somehow sucking the brains out of a fetus is OK!!

I hope one of the first homes to be "eminent domained" belongs to a supreme court justice, or a liberal senator, then we will see if equal protection under the law, falls to the wayside too.

I am watching my country that I love, that I fought for, bled, for DIE a slow rotting death, while the left stands and cheers.

We are in a 2 front war folks, one against the terrorist from with out and one from the terrorist within, the one from within is being disguised as {liberal progressive thoughts"} These same thoughts are destroying america and the left is doing more damage than any 10000 terrorist can do, them we can fight, the liberals live among us, and behave like children with a loaded handgun, bang,, another right dies, boom another tradition is put to death, Pow another liberty is stolen away from us.

The left says, President bushes nomination john bolton will not be effective because he has "baggage" well the left gave him the baggage to carry.

The left cries poor terrorist, living in clean cells at the taxpayers expense, praying on rugs, at the taxpayers expense, eating chicken with orange sause at the tax payers expense, are being tortured, with no proof, but since when does the left need proof?

A good lie for the left serves them much better than the truth.

WE are dieing here, and the left is leading the way SHOUTING DEATH TO AMERICA!"

All animals are equal; some are just more equal than others.

good article... cried tears all the way home from work today. What else is there to do but to petition our leaders, holding them accountable, and to PRAY????

thank you, for reading... prayer is just not going to get it I think we need a good house cleaning, starting with the courts, then the far left, then the far right.

Moderateman, you may want to ask yourself why all this is happening while America is under Republican control. The most authoritarian and Federalist Government has been ushered in ounder the command of those advancing the 'security' agenda. I don't think Democrats have been foreward about stopping this particular agenda and many have gone right along with it, but they are hardly those at the head of the charge.

I agree with you that many of the courts tend to be more left-sided. The Supreme court , currently, is not one of those. I don't know if you've read "Men in Black" yet, but I gurantee you'll enjoy it. It's funny thinking about the S. Court as left-sided when it handed down the decision that allowed Bush to be president in the first place. (note: I voted for the guy the first time, so it's my fault too, I fell for the pandering - hey bitch, where's my repeal of 'abortion rights' - ushered in under an activist judge.)

--Whether it "handed" bush the presidency is irrelevant...what is relevant is that america as we have known it is going down the shie hole, i am sick of it, i don't care who started it, I am going to finish it (figurativley), if steps are needed to return america to a moral, and decent, freedom/liberty loving nation....then fine...me first...(ok, rant out of the way...)

--The decline in freedom started in the presidency before this (not bush's previous term) example, waco, they were not a threat...yet the gov't under clintons administratio murdered them, burned them alive, and we find out later, that gee, their leader didn't set them on fire, it was our "grand" government...also, we as americans, nay, as humans should not let our morals and freedoms get thrown out, with the trash out there on tv, movies,etc... our morals pretty much only exist in small close knit areas, our freedoms, well, just look at some of the supreme courts rulings, and other "incidents"....

--oh, and we're (i'm) back from our honey moon, went to Cancun...( ) we were going to be there another day, but she became sick....

I agree with your surmize but, thought ... it was the fault of the "extreme RIGHT" .. not the left, you see, I consider myself a bit liberal, but in no way do I believe in the eminent domain horse@$$!@.. but I do believe in a seperation between church and state, and wait wait , wasnt the justice who was so up in arms against the eminent domain ruling one of those regularly "liberal" voters in the supreme court?"?? I could be wrong but always thought she voted pretty close to my own bweliefs... and if Im classified as the liberal left... then wouldnt she be as well??? the left as you think it must be, is not as radical as everyone espouts... which is why lol the democratic "party" is so far out of touch... they keep calling on the votes of the radical FAR left ... and only a handful are willing to answer... the majority I think are ppl more like me... middle class, who want gvmnt out of my private life, including how or where or when I pray... who work very hard and spend more on health insurance than a mgtg pmnt, who believe weather it is right or wrong, it is our job to support our military, no matter what... and for just my own part.... I do not care if gays get some kind of rights... as couples anyway.. it dosent threaten me, true marriage is in the eyes of my religious beliefs, and thier rights to sit a hospital vigil or file taxes dosent change or threaten me... ultimatly, the tragedy is ... most of the so called left ... is a group of benign , hard to work up mind thier own business kind of ppl, who have either served in the military, or have sacrificed family members to it, for one thing... and one belief... Freedom... and that encompases your freedom to be angered, and my freedom to reply, and the freedom to believe whatever the heck feels good to our skin... left or right..

"I hope one of the first homes to be "eminent domained" belongs to a supreme court justice, or a liberal senator, then we will see if equal protection under the law, falls to the wayside too"
That will not happen and for a simple reason. You're making the mistake of thinking it's going to be some sort of equal ground between the common Joe and the affluent lawmakers.
Think about this people, before you make up some bullcrap excuse as to how the US isn't really turning into a dark empire with controls that would make Big Brother or even Hitler smile. This kind of action is something we would have only heard coming out of Beijing or Moscow or even Nazi Germany for Christ's sake. And the supporters of the lies know it. This is exactly what would have been denounced as evil Communism not even a decade ago. Food for thought.
Stand Up and Wake Up
This is no joke. But the existing state of democracy in America is. Although the powers that be have been taking away liberties discreetly for the past long while, the curtains have been drawn more than ever before for the common public to see. The complete forfeiture of your liberties can still be avoided but that would mean some sort of civil action and I have to wonder if the common American has the balls to challenge what's taking place right now. Every passing day is another opportunity lost before the hellfire really hits the fan. A day of reckoning will be upon us all one day. One day, you supporters of the illegal actions in Iraq will fully accept what is really transpiring here. In another decade we're all going to look back to right now and see the road to blatant obvious totalitarianism was only in its infancy and maybe, just maybe, acting on it would have made a difference. Rest asured, this is the beginning, and of the end for some if not many.

--RH, sure, maybe "our liberties are being taking away"...but your "god-like" democrats are not stopping it, they sit around with there thumbs up their #$%! and bitch and complain...thats it, most of the taking away is being done by people of similar ideologies that whine when they don't get their ways......*&^%$#@!

Call them misguided, sure. Politically immature, certainly. Unaware of the consequences of their actions, of course. And of course, they are out and out WRONG about so many things it's scary at times.

You can call us anything you want. Doesn't make it so. You can think we are flat out wrong all you want, doesn't make it so. We certainly do have a different philosophy for living and I think rightie conservatives are flat out so way off base and out in space, but of course the same applies to me. I just don't have the flair for insult and derision that you guys have.

But I have to believe in my heart of hearts that they too want whats best for America. We cant agree on what that is, and thats one thing.

Thank you for throwing us that lil tidbit. I feel so much better now.

.......we have been drug down to their level.

Never mind
It's not about being dragged down to our level. That is so &&*$#. What the original statement and this dumbass reply just indicates is that righties continually get all in a dither over lefties' unflattering comparisons of their fearless leader, but their simmilarly couched comparisons of the left are apparently acceptable. I can feel the hypocrisy just eminiating from this original post and subsequent replies.

wasnt the justice who was so up in arms against the eminent domain ruling one of those regularly "liberal" voters in the supreme court?"??

Which one would that be? O'connor, Scalia, Rehnquist or Thomas?  Better go back and check the vote! I thin kyou are thinking Ruth Buzzi, Not Sandra day. She along with Kennedy are the court Moderates. Far from LIberal, just not solid conservative.

Now go away, child.

He really is a child as he cannot agree with anyone on the right even when they are defending him!  He really is a poor man's Dabe.

deference, I do not care who is steering this particular ship, really, it's happening on Bushes watch, yes, but it is the left that is setting the agenda.
