America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
5 out of 9 does it everytime.

Now we can see the importance of having more conservatives on the supreme court, the liberal wing of the court, just hijacked america once again.

Now anytime a fat cat wants some property, they pay off someone and poof,, eminent domain strikes.

This is another slap in the face of the american people, no longer is your home safe from fraud, robbery or politicians.

GIMMEE THAT HOME is now the new thing to fear, no longer is a persons home their castle, lowering the draw bridge will not work, we are under seige from the liberals, they plan to take over by force if necessary.

Are you sure it's only 'liberals' who are creating this apparent fiasco?

Icon, I read yours first and I AGREE with you!  You are one of the more rational liberals and this cuts across liberal and conservative veins.  It is only the short sighted that do not see this is trampling on the constitution BIG time.  Perhaps it will accomplish 2 things.

1: Get more competant justices on the supreme court.  Those that will not legislate from the bench.

2: Fix the 5th Amendment!  I think there is sufficient outrage on both sides of the fence that it could easily be the next amendment.  Conservatives and liberals banding together for a common cause.

I have a link to the opinion itself. I haven't read it, but it's 58 pages and I don't expect it to be easy reading. I doubt you're going to find a source with more information that that, though.

Icon, I saw your article. It's just that--strangely enough--you didn't happen to mention my personal opinion on the matter.

I read an article from Slate on this in Feb. and thought, no way the family would lose. I mean we're not talking a bridge, bypass, etc. It's a shopping mall, or some such.

I can just imagine how a guy who owns a few acres near prime commercial land must feel.

the court is divided along lines, this vote was the liberal wing, with one centrist.
