Where to start?

We make THEM stand till it's uncomfortable, They cut heads off with rusty knives.

We have females question them, they send children to blow themselves up.

We "make them drink water, they use females as human shields.

We wage war with rules, They have no rules.

We send them to doctors to mend their wounds, they let our wounds rot.

I hope this is not to deep for you dimwits, {you know in your heart if you are a dimwit}

I would love a few more examples from my friends and allies to show the difference to the idiot I hate america bunch."

Yeah, rule 1: Make up a reason for going to war
rule 2: bomb the shit out of civilians
rule 3: Act all suprised when civilians complain about little things like their friends and family (including small children) being killed or severely mamed by said bombs.

I do agree with the jist of this post. A lot of the outrage about our detention facilities is completely misplaced. Many of the tactics and incidents that are being described as torture are a complete joke.

I make my kids stand in the corner for misbehaving. Is that torture?

If they don't eat what I've fixed for them for a meal, they forfeit snacks until the next meal, and if it's dinner time, they don't eat again until breakfast. Is that torture?

I can't tell you how many times when doing laundry Adrian or I have teased them and put underwear on their heads. Is that torture?

It would be nice if people were able to understand the difference between something uncomfortable or unpleasant and true torture.

Having said that, there is no excuse for abusing, maiming, or murdering detainees in our care.

Mod, there are a thousand comparisons.  But as you already saw, not even pointing out 10,000 difference would appease the ghouls who would rather see a thousand children slain, than to admit that animals care nothing for collateral damage.  The more gruesome the animals are, the more the dimwits scream about the hangnails of the GIs.

We go to great lenghts to avoid civilian casualties.

They target civilians deliberately.

That's the difference they don't understand.

We mourn the deaths of civilians and go so far as to endanger our own troops to reduce it. They target civilians and go just as far to make sure the deaths make the news.

We celebrate the fact that 50 Million people (now more with Iran) have gained the right to vote. They threated and bomb voters in an attempt to scare them away from the polls.

We investigate, prosecute and convict our troops who are found guilty of inhuman treatment towards prisoners. They behead their prisoners and offer the video up as "violence porn" on the internet.

Our troops offer medical aid, candy and even food from their own rations to kids on the streets. They kidnap kids and threaten their parents to become suicide bombers.

and for another slant on the "we and they" thing....

"We" cheer our troops on and pray for the need for our men and women to end so our loved ones can come home, with a Free Iraq and Afghanistan as the "end game". They whine, cry and call for a premature redeployment of our troops, leaving Iraq and Afghanistan to those whose goals are to yank the newly won freedom out from under the Iraqi and Afghan people.

I wonder, while we are running "comparisons", what is the difference between the outcome for which the terrorist fights and the outcome for which Traitor Durbin and all the other "bring them home now" Know-Nothings fight?
