For all you morons that think guns are the great evil of our times and have blamed guns for crime, murder, rape and other acts take the following test.

Get a weapon, any weapon will do... gun, knife, baseball bat.

Put said weapon on a table top.

Sit back watching weapon intently.

Wait for weapon to do harm all of its own accord.

when weapon does not attack you or anyones else, maybe, just maybe YOU WILL SEE WHAT AN IDIOT YOU ARE.

Well, I've been watching for over an hour now MM, and it seems you are quite right. There is obviously nothing to worry about here. What on earth could we have been thinking? Hurrah! Let's issue guns to every new-born infant.

Thats just really silly. Whats your position of the legalisation of drugs (crack,horse, meth, etc)?
Im sure you can appreciate where i would go with that and your table top routine.

What more why downsize nuclear arsenals? Their just sitting in silos. Can t do any harm just sitting in a nuclear silo can it?
You make the rest of what you say about the gun debate seem childish if this is the kind of base thinking its steeped in.

We should ban baseballl bats. The bat rolled off the table and whacked me on the foot all by itself. Ouch. The gun just laid there and behaved itself.

guns and weapons do not kill people, people do

You guys constantly raise the same stupid arse point. Yes we know the gun is an inanimate object. Without a person pulling a trigger the gun cant go off.

Our point being without a gun there is no trigger to pull. Its quite simple.

If you're going to argue along those lines then why dont we legalise crack and heroine? The drugs can only kill someone if they overdose. So it must be the persons fault not the drugs. Why should the fact that you cant handle your drugs stop me from selling and "doing" mine?

Why should i drive @ 50 instead of a 100 in suburban areas. My car will only kill someone if i crash it. Its not my cars fault that i cant drive. So why should my car be preventing from speeding.

Your argument is for the dense because only the dense would go along with it.
Your actually trying to give rights to a gun as if it were a living thing. If you remove or minimise the use of the object you remove or minimise the injury and risk associated with the use of that object.

It doesn't take rocket scientist to work that out.

Criminals don't normally use legally purchased guns, and don't care they aren't legal.

like I said watch the gun carefully for 2 weeks do not eat nor wash.. nor drink water while watching for the "evil" gun to jump off table and go find something to kill.. the reason you will not have to worry is the "evil" gun will see you are weak from hunger, dieing of thirst and stink like something already dead and will not bother you.
