I recently watched The 13th Warrior for the third time, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time. It was shot in Vancouver, and an actor friend of mine visited the set. He said it was exciting to watch because of the quality of the performances as well as the topography. Each time I watched it, I tried to memorize the Norse prayer, but it got away from me. Thank you for putting it on the web where I could at last see it and print it out. Thank you for the rambings of a twisted mind.

The movie was on again tonight, and I saw it again. The prayer is beautiful and inspiring, and I'm grateful to have found it on your site.

Lo I see my Father
Lo I see my mother
Lo I see my brother and sisters
Lo I see my comrades and friends

Beckoning to me to join them,to take my place in the halls of Valhalla to live there in honor forevermore.

Did some one watch the 13th Warrior again? BTW your a little off on the entire prayer. It goes "Lo there do I see my Father, Lo there do I see my Mother, Lo there do I see my Sisters and my Brothers'
I see the line of my people back to the beginning. They do call to me to take my place In the halls of Valhalla. Where the Brave may live forever" Here's a link to it. Link

All in all a great post!

I sat and watched it again for the upteenthtime last night. Man I love that movie! I just love everything about it. The part where they spit in the bowl and drink from it - ewwww! It's also the funniest part of the movie! Thanks for the repeating the words Elie, I don't ever memorize it but I love hearing it!

Damn, it looks like I missed a good movie.

it's on a bunch whip, watch and enjoy a truly under rated movie, filled with fine acting , developed charectors and antonio banderas finest acting job as the 13th warrior.
