America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Crooks beware

Well Looks like another Bush is doing alot of good, Govenor J. Bush signed into law, the shoot the bad guy law.

Citizens will finally be able to defend themselves without fear of prosocution.

A crook, rapist now can be shot fair and square without the added worry of being sued by the badguys for you defending themselves.

Naturally democrats are calling this the "wildwest" act But as we all know democrats are much more worried about badguys rights than good guy rights. right?

I think it has its positives and its negatives Mod. One one hand you can defend yourself. That's good.

But on the other hand, i worry if some might see it as a license to shoot over non lethal matters.

Time will tell i guess.

Sweeeeeet. Not that this would have stopped me before. If forced to, I'd rather be in trouble for shooting, than be hospitalized or killed because I was worried I might get sued..........

the idiots that use this as a game shoot thing will pay before the law. It's about time law abiding citizens can defend themselves.

My grandfather used to say, "better to be judged by twelve than carried by six" I agree with SPC.

Yeah it's about time honest citizens regained some rights from the criminals. I've always thought it was absurd that a criminal could sue someone for shooting them while committing a crime. If you break into someone's house and are shot for it, you shouldn't have the right to sue over it.

While you'd get no arguement from me on that one, I'd personally substitute the word greedy for liberal in that statement.

And I'd also add we have liberal and/or stupid judges for finding in the criminal's favor in those suits.

Works for me. But I still fault the judges even more than the lawyers.

Jusges should just toss out these sort of absurd suits. Maybe even reprimand the lawyers who bring them.
