Don't mess with the fillabuster

I really don't think the fillabuster should be messed with, even if the slacker dems are being hard headed obstructionist.

Even though an up or down vote on all President Bushes nominess is a reasonable request, since when has reason had anything to do with democrats of the last 5 years?

I just don't think that taking away all the power of the dems is a good idea, I for one do not want a one party system in america.

It's dangerous and could lead to a real facist state.

Damn straight Mod. What the right forgets is that during the years when they were in the minority, it was their best weapon.

tis oh so true, but the reason I am against messing with it has nothing to do with that. A one party system sucks no matter what one party it is.

They are not taking any power away, and indeed not killing the fillibuster. That is just libneral propaganda.

Right now, there are several things that cannot be fillibustered, by the arbitrary senate rules in effect (nothing in the Constitution about it). This would just add one more thing that could not be. It would not eliminate it, nor would it cure their arrogance and stupidity for disenfranchising the majority of Americans.
