There is no liberal media bias to the extent the right always amplifies it. CNN, CBS, MSNBC

Right.  I get that.  Let me play.  "I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. lewinsky"

Did I do as well as you?  I am new at this.

It certainly would seem to be the case.

For every liberal commentator I see on American news, I see 10 neo-cons (who are not conservatives, I can respect conservatives, and have conservative beliefs myself on many issues, neo-cons just seemed to drop the word "nazis" in favour of "conservatives").

On top of this, every liberal commentator I see is a total pussy, who has no points, no facts, and will not take a stand on matters they believe in for fear of upsetting people, while the conservatives are not afraid to verbally tear to pieces anyone that disagrees with them. It's no wonder so many Americans think that liberals are pussies. Let's illustrate the point - Dan Rather, liberal, forced to report rationally and without bias. Bill O'Reilly, likes to use vibrators on himself, tells to shut up and cuts the microphone on anyone who disagrees with his absurd fascist beliefs, frequently threatens guests with violence, completely ape-shit-barking-insane.

Words are cheap, lies are cheaper. Alegations are a dime a dozen. Facts are too precious to buy. You dont have any capital and therefore no facts. Just lies and words. And alegations

You certainly seem to talk a lot, yet say nothing. It seems to be a popular right wing tactic these days of simply countering anyone else's point with, "that's stupid", despite any evidence they may present, while presenting no evidence whatsoever to back up their own argument. See above post for example.

Definition of a neo-con? Two words:

Ann Coulter

That enough for you? See, although I think that your political beliefs are bordering upon insane, I think that you're a good person who wants what you think is best for the people, just as I do. Ann Coulter literally describes anyone who disagrees with her nazi opinions evil, and she's backed it up saying that she's not just talking, she really believes that they are evil.

Why is George Bush not conservative? Conservatives believe in financial responsibility, small and unobtrusive government, allowing people to deal with their own affairs without government interference. These are honourable values. What do neo-conservatives believe in? From what I've seen, mostly attacking anyone who opposes them, character assassination, lying when convenient, and openly wanting "A Pearl Harbour type situation" (See 9/11) so that they can manufacture consent for their insane "new world order", read the Project For A New American Century's website if you don't believe any single one of those points, they clearly state all of them, and their membership consists largely of your current administration.

You don't know that they tried to bring down Bush. The 60 Minutes incident was not a news disaster about bias, but how some people in the news can get desperate to get and finish a story. An example of this can be seen in Michael Crichton's novel "AIRFRAME", where a 60-minutes-type news magazine show loses a guest at the last minute and is so desperate to find a replacement story that they almost wrongfully destroy an American aviation manufacturing company by getting the facts wrong and truelly listening only to those who will give their story about "death" and "evil corporations", all key ideas that the producer in the story says will get viewers to tune in.

diamondback lives in sinclair land, eh?

did you know most of their local news comes out of one studio in Maryland?

hahahahahahahahaha

no wonder you're so brainwashed

personally, i don't watch TV news...liberal or conservative, they're all giving only half the story IMO

Myrrander, you silly son of a gun you.

If the 10 O'Clock local news is shot out of studio in MD, they must have some Learjets flying directly from the studio to the local airport, because I've actually had one of the local anchors buy me a drink at a bar just 90 minutes after one newscast.

For the record, I don't watch much TV. My daughter is going to be 5 and my son 2, and I prefer they spend as little time as possible in front of the TV, so neither my wife nor I do it very much. After they go to bed we'll watch Friends and maybe a episode of Seinfeld from our dvd's.

In the morning before I head to work, I used to flip on Headline news, and that's only because I think that Robin Meade is pretty hot. My news typically comes from either the newspaper or online sources. Yes, I even occasionally stroll upon left-wing sources. It never hurts to see what other people are saying.

Conservatives have *always* complained about a 'so-called' liberal media since time immemorial. A conservative will always find that anything in disagreement with his world view is 'liberal', irregardless of reality. We can read and hear conservative commentators rant and rave to the point of foaming at the mouth about 'liberal media' in their very own 'politically correct' conservative controlled media...

Get used to it, folks. A conservative world view is a *narcissistic* one utterly lacking in any empathy for anything but self. No other view can provide the kind of self denial needed to ignore the fact that one is so guilty of that which he is complaining about. You can interpret these complaints as nothing more than displeasure at being *unable* to *manipulate* the media as easily as desired. (Unfortunately, there's still some value in media accuracy to consumers - so telling fibs to satisfy the politicos eventually comes off the bottom line. Here conservatives are between a rock and a hard place. Make a medium a mouthpiece and it loses all credibility.)

Conservative rants are more revealing than you'd think, in a Freudian way. You can rank conservative complaints about 'political correctness' right up there with 'liberal media'. Think not? If someone has a problem with you - the liberal will come to you to hash it out - the conservative will go right over your head - every time.

Remember folks - the next time you hear a conservative bitching about something, pause for a moment and consider the fact that it's probably just a behavioral Freudian slip.

Ok SuperGene sniper! explain why those of us who aren't so "conservative". Explain why most the members of the major media ADMIT they are liberal. Explain the dour faces and black clothing on normally professional newscasters after Prs. Bush won.

I guess I'm just being narcissistic for taking their own word for it. lol

I did not have to provide facts as I was not stating facts. You dont seem to grasp the difference. But your own post belies your own ignorance and prejudice. Show me where I said you were stupid.

Right. And the meaning of is is?

Uh, you have not really researched this subject have you? Why were they working on it for 5 years, yet failed to interview the very people that could have debunked the forgery? Why did they not use any interviews with the wife and son of the Col? Why were bloggers, in one hour able to show the document to be a forgery when they had been working on the story for 5 years?

If you believe the claptrap that Dan Blather came up with, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
