Me: So what do you think about Presidents Bush now that Democracy SEEMS to be spreading in the Arab sector of the world?

Democrat: well, ummm I ummm think we should wait and see.

Me: wait and see what? Already there has been democratic voting in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Palestinians have voted, the Lebanese are screaming for voting rights, their Syrian government has resigned and fled, Egypt has promised free elections, Libya has given up their wmd’s.

Democrat: well there still is Iran and Syria to take into account.

Me: So in other words unless every country in the world turns to Democratic process, Bush has failed.

Democrat: um yes that’s it.

Me: You just cannot admit Bush was right, people want freedom can you?

Democrat: Well how about Jordan and Saudi Arabia?

Me: I can see where this is going, if every country on YOUR list has democratic elections, the next thing you will do is expand that list, maybe include red china, North Korea too?

Democrat: yes I forgot about them, No free elections there. {Smugly said}

Me: come on just say it!

Democrat: no!!

There is just no way any democrat is ever going to say Bush is right and we {the democrats} had it wrong.

Like I said on one of your other threads, it seems Bush helped scare Syria out of Lebanon. I also think the people of Ukraine deserve a lot of credit for the massive demonstrations that helped shore up democracy there -- I was listening to an interview with one of the Lebanese opposition leaders, and he talked about how the example of Ukraine was instrumental in their own demonstrations.

I'm not ready to call Iraq a success, I have a feeling the Kurds are going to be a problem. But I don't consider myself a Democrat (they're far too conservative for my tastes ) so I don't have a lot of trouble giving some credit to Mr. Bush.

Geez they must have slipped me a stronger anti-depressant this week, I'm saying nice things about George Bush. Hehe.

This is the same Newspapaer that tried to influence the American Election by getting idiots in Britian to call or write Ohio Voters to vote for Kerry?

And you want to use them as an unbiased source?

Let me guess, you also think Mikey Moore is 100% correct and conservative.

Sheeesssh!
