Ok conservation freaks and fellow tree huggers We gotta do something about these idiots that keep sending heavy catalogs to your home long after you said enuff.

Order one thing online from a catalog and BOOM your name get sold to 1986564398997645 different places and soon comes a flood of paper catalogs.

How much time , energy and precious trees are wasted doing this ?

The mrs and I get about 25 catalogs a week and it's such a huge waste of our resources.

There must be a way to stop the madness.....

Do what i did mod. Put a brick in your mailbox!

Or put a sticker on your mailbox that says "NO JUNK MAIL". My neighbor did it and it worked.

Are we talking about catelogues that come in plastic with your name and address on them? Like Myer or Ikea or David Jones?
Because a no-junk mail sticker wouldn't work with those - if something has your address on it it has to be delivered - even if it's got your neighbours name on it (like last week was my neighbours birthday and I kept getting cards and packages with her name and my address)

But if it's just the routine junk that everyone gets - Coles, woolworths, target, kmart catelogues they'd have to comply with a no junk mail sticker.

Have you tried calling and unsubscribing? We still got catelogues for a Grandma months after she died - everytime we called and cancelled and they kept sending them.
