America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
almost 40 years later and still the same sad song.

This march will be 40 years since this man went to war.

This April will be 39 years since most of me came home.

I still remember my homecoming… you do not need to know.

I see the same punk azz whining America bashing creeps I saw when getting off my mats flight and took the bus to my last duty station.

You’re the people that made America lose a war…. Are you happy now?

Your trying to see that America loses this war too. Does it bring you pleasure to do this?

You cry for the enemy, but shed no tears for your own troops.
You are the lowest of the low. Seeing you do what you do makes me sick.

Hearing your foul words of compassion for the enemy makes me wish harm on you.

Reading your treasonous words makes me want to never read again. Are you all happy now?
Safe and secure because our troops are bleeding for you. Keeping you safe so you can spew the venom you vomit forth.
You’re without a doubt the most ungrateful people on the planet. You don’t deserve to live in America.

You have reduced the word liberal to a curse word. And made a joke of the Democratic Party. Are you happy now?

What did Jesus say about War?

Moderateman, as I see more and more of your articles, I must say I'm dissappointed in you. You see some members of my party do something and you lash out against everyone in my party in a vicious way. I agree it is a sick thing to protest soldiers. I may dislike this war but I want these soldiers home safe. But two wrongs don't make a right. Lashing out so viciously will just make liberals who generalize hate the right more. This is the way I used to act when I was an extremist, constantly hating every Republican because some did things I disliked. I look back and I truly scare myself. Please don't become that way.

I agree with a lot of the substance, but I think you overestimate how sincere a lot of it is. I don't think they really weep for the enemy, and I don't think they really hate our troops. I think they hate their political opponents, and are willing to say anything to weaken them. They just don't have the forsight or care to see that their political pablum might actually cause tangible damage outside the political arena.

There may be some who really empathize the way they say they do, but honestly most of what we see here is re-hashed junk from 24 hour news and the Democratic Underground. Just look at it as if 2008 is starting early. I don't think we are going to see a lull between these two elections.

As someone forced to read redacted newspapers on my tour, I did not have a vague idea of what was waiting for me when I came home. All I remember is the pain of finding out a small minority, hated me for doing my duty… I am kind of rabid about this subject.

This affects the troops, this constant bickering. I am sick to my heart about it.

Baker, I think you nailed it.  ALl they had for the last 4 years was hatred of Bush.  Unreasoned hatred.  And that is all they have now. It is not all democrats or even liberals.  It is just the hate filled ones. It is sad because their hate is destroying their reasoning ability and sense.  And in that process they are bringing down the democrat party.

You're right doc and baker... I am afraid their hatred is starting to affect my thinking... maybe sometime off from blogging for me is a good idea.
