I need to remind ME, sometimes
I need to remind myself why I volunteered to fight a war.
It was so my lovely wife had the right to protest in the streets voicing her opinion that war is wrong and evil.
It was so My own brother whom I adore could take to the street do protest freely and not having to worry about being killed for his opinion.
It was to keep my countrymen safe and to live the American dream of democracy.
It was done so big mouth America hating liberals have the right to express their opinion.
I did it so people like DABE have the freedom to wish me dead and rotting in hell from the safety of her own home, warm and secure no one is going to take it away from her.
I did it so I have the same freedoms.
I did it so the “right” to vote in free elections is mine, yours too.
I watch countless children die in the name of freedom. So I could live free.
Most of all I did it because my Father did it and said once to me “this country took us in {mom and dad were from turkey} gave us shelter, helped us have a place to live.
