America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
THEM, being the Democrats
Published on October 2, 2007 By Moderateman In Politics

The Democratic candidates for the office of President of the United States simply cannot be trusted to protect America. How can I make such a blanket statement like this one might ask? Simply because of a few simple facts they have shown so far.

1. The are afraid to go on Fox news where they will not be tossed soft balls all night long, they might have to actually answer questions like, How are you going to finance all this universal health care you are pounding on?

2. You are all terrified of the Daily Kos, a simple blog site yet you waltz to their tune out of fear of being trashed by them.

3. You live in fear of moveon.org and George Soros billions, Mr. Soros who's agenda is clear, he wants to turn America into France or the E.U. is not even an American citizen yet he bought the entire democratic Party in 2004 and still demands you dance to the tune he plays.

So you fear a 527 organization, a blog-site or two and a man not even a citizen of America and I am supposed to trust that you will face down terrorists? Sorry, so far none of you inspire me to put my life in your hands. Vote Republican in 2008! Stop these cowardly wimps from turning over our country to a bunch of unwashed cave dwelling Muslim terrorists. Stop these people from giving the United Nations {no Friend to America} any say in our policies, because they will. If we elect a Democrat the United Nations will say jump and the democratic President will ask "how high"?

Actually, I'm in favor of voting for the most obscure party on the ballot. Republicans and Democrats both need a time out in my opinon.

I'm not that good at my history (probably lose to the Fifth Graders) but I seem to recall a few times when there were some obscure candidates that won the White House, but for the most what you've said is true and it's sad as the fringes in either party have siezed control of the parties and the people that are fairly moderate have been squeezed out and made irrelevant in the selection process that is used to get the party nominee chosen.

Frankly I see Democrats and Republicans as two sides of the same tarnished coin. I don't trust any of them.

Well, the last president that wasn't a Republican or Democrat was number 13, Millard Fillmore, a Whig. 1850-1853 He took over for Zachary Taylor, also a Whig, who died of gastroenteritis.

need to re look at your history books.

the whigs were they first major party.

but they blew it trying to insure that no one but them could be president.

and now the democrats want to do away with the president so that they can control the prime minister that they want to replace him with.

also remeber that the democrat party was the republican party at one time in our history. of course at that time the republican party was the democrat party.

Actually, it was Lincolna dn the Civil war that institutionalized the 2 parties (for or against him and the war).  before that, we had other parties and even no party presidents.

Not only do I not trust them neither party or their platforms truly represent me.

Yeah I'm not liking the candidates right now. Of course I haven't done my homework on them all (20 something).

As I said in one of your other blogs MM, I fear the 'socialist' Democrats.

Yeah...I did kind of overlook the "major" part of your comment...and I went research crazy. However, that was the end of the time which wasn't Rep/Dem based. So...that's something I guess.

Of all the candidates I fear Hillary the most, she will do the most damage to America than the terrorists have done.
