Reply By: Dr GuyPosted: Saturday, September 29, 2007 Many, not all of course, extreme leftists base their entire viewpoint solely on feelings and emotion and are thus threatened by any sort of rational thought based upon actual facts. Mason stole my line. But I also agree with Jythier. Not all left wingers are like du.org, Puffington Host, dailykos, moveon.org and SC posters, but those who post there do so for the comfort of not having to think and reach and debate. The post there because they cant debate or reason, not in spite of it. Those on the left that can debate, reason, and think usually frequent other sites where they will be challenged, civilly, to a stimulating discussion or debate and be able to sharpen their skills, and justify their beliefs.

I went there following draginols blog and found some well written stuff doc, I left my comment and was immediately jumped on, that should have been my first clue, then I was compared to a closet homosexual, second clue, then a pedophile, third clue, I had some hope when  Artysim who blogs over at the chimp came here to invite some discourse, but then to see my article removed, no explanation, no anything just gone! Well ok I can take a slew of clues {duh on me}. I am done with the chimp, it's their loss, now they can go back to .. "bush bad" and everyone saying yeh man, right on! whatta douche Bush is, no opposing voices allowed.

Perhaps he will stick around and enjoy good debate on a site that promotes it, and does not stiffle it.

Joe is a crotchety old bastard who has no love for democrats or republicans (from what I can tell) and in my opinion has got a pretty good bead on just what the hell is going on in the U.S these days. Check it out and lemme know!

If you click on ramblings of a twisted mind over on the right hand sidebar you will be directed to my page, the article is called "they eat their own, Democrats that is!", I changed the title for the chimp to something much less offensive "moveon.org, threat to freedom of speech?" I removed from the body of the work anything that could be construed as offensive or an attack on Leftist values, I removed such terms as loons, in ot6her words I presented a much watered down version hoping to not annoy the powers that be too much at the chimp. I guess even that was too much for them.

I will check your site out though and appreciate the time you spent putting together your reply.
