America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
The Second Amendment Under Sneak Attack
Published on August 16, 2007 By Moderateman In US Domestic

On July 4th 1776 The 56 signers of the Declaration Of Independence, stated in closing..." we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor" {this being a time when HONOR MEANT SOMETHING}. By doing so the began the first truly 'grassroots' fight for freedom.

These signers had to worry about how King George would react to this, what steps he might take, for in the signing of the Declaration, the signers also declared themselves 'traitors' and would be tried for treason and hanged if caught. Did they really understand that many of them would die. some would lose their fortunes and die paupers? Did they really understand they were in for a long and difficult war with the most powerful nation on the planet at the time? Thankfully G-d Bless America with leaders in those early years with the wisdom, courage and determination that made them equal to the task. Since then we have learned from sad experience that 'FREEDOM IS NOT FREE' . But unlike the signers of the Declaration none of us have had to risk going to the gallows to secure the freedom they fought to give to us. While it is true many Americans have given their lives to safeguard our freedom, it is left to those of us that live NOW to uphold the sovereignty guaranteed by our U.S. Constitution!

Today many career politicians, hungry for MORE power. privilege and fame are claiming what they do is "for the good of the children" or "for our own good" Too many of these politicians ABUSE their own power and authority because of arrogance and the greedy desire for money. we citizens must hold such forces in check.

Mayor Micheal Bloomberg has laid claim to being the self-appointed gun-control czar for the nation, however the congress has continued to put stumbling blocks in the Mayors way, the recent struggle is over the Tiahrt Amendment named for Congressman Tiahrt. Mayor Bloomberg is working very hard to repeal this amendment, which must be passed annually, the Tiahrt Amendment protects the privacy of gun owners and limits the disclosure to law enforcement agencies working on a criminal investigation. It also prohibits any information being released to Governors and MAYORS that want to blame their urban crime problems on our nations gun owners. Bloomberg is considering running for President and can do it 'out of pocket change' But I digress, Right now he is funding a website that claims doing away with "the right to bear arms" will result in "law and order" yeh right, then only violent criminals will have guns. His website demands that the Tiahrt Amendment be overturned.

WE Americans must keep our eyes on any politicians that want to play with the Constitution, the one thing that guarantees freedom from an oppressive government is the government knowing its people is well armed!

it would also mean that nothing would stop the police from coming into your house anytime they want to.

all the police need is suspicion if you are stopped for speeding. I think! I am not sure of this maybe someone else knows more about this.

They need probable cause to perform a full search, or consent. There are a couple other exceptions too, such as hot pursuit.
