But this did not work with these 4 as it had with previous others,for these 4 stayed a course only our Messiah and Redeemer himself stayed,walking through a pagan world undefiled....Divorce was a horrible decree,for when Yahweh divorced Israel from the Covenant they went the way of the Nations and still are serving those Natgions,except a minority who walk through a pagan world seperate from partaking in the pagan customs they see on their walk. Well todays religons are mirroring more and more of the ancient pagan pratices minus the sacrificing of children,remember Easter/Ishtar was a fertility day when the High Priests would impregnate certifide virgins for the solarace sacrifices the next yr. and when parents sacrificed the oldest child and bathed and had sex in the blood and the dipped eggs into the mixture and hid them around their boundaries in hopes of pregnancy and good harvest.

The High Solarace was a festival of sacrifice by placing their children into a blast furnance so the next year would be a blessed one and all their prayers to Molach/Mythra/Horus or whatever name they were using at the time would be answered.

My Lutheran Pastor said not even the Almighty Mighty One of the Hebrews can take his pagan practices from him,that scared me and shocked him,for I seen something that day that made me realize my days were numbered.

reread what you just posted daniel didn't object to the new name. he objected to the food and and wine. and after he refused the food and drink then the servents decided that the new names didn't fit them.

He objected to what the King of Babylon was fixing to place upon them,to learn the pagan ways of Babylon and to forsake the Ways of Israel.

this is what the church does do.

the church operates dessert industries. same as goodwill. except that the cloths only stay on the shelves for about 10 days. then they go to a warehouse and are shipped around the world to wherever they are needed for free.


the church collects fast offerings. we are supposed to fast 1 day a month. fast offerings is what that meal would have cost. this is used to help people. both member and non-member.


the church also operates the bishops warehouse. not available everywhere but this where members and non-members can go and get food.


of course the church usually requires that you do something for this help.


so as i said before you have no idea what you talking about.


as for festivals. we celebrate Christmas as do most other Christians. but unlike most Christians we know that Christmas is not the day of Christ birth. but just the day it is celebrated. we also celebrate easter. again we know it isn't the day he was resurrected.

Torrential rains caused massive flooding throughout parts of central and western England leaving more than 15,000 homes in Gloucestershire without power and up to 350,000 people without running water as severe flooding forced the closure of a water treatment plant on July 23, 2007.
While flood warnings continue to be issued in the Midlands, Oxfordshire, and Bedfordshire areas, Church leaders near Sheffield have been working with civil authorities in the recent weeks to distribute cleaning and other emergency relief supplies to those affected. Local leaders, in an effort to determine if Church assistance is needed, are assessing member and community needs.

Health Ministry Receives Major Supply of Wheelchairs

JOHN'S, Antigua and Barbuda - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently donated 250 wheelchairs to the Ministry of Health as part of its humanitarian services to Antigua and Barbuda. Elder James Phillips made the donation on behalf of the Church. "We know that there are a lot of people in Antigua who are in need of wheelchairs," Phillips said. "We believe that it's our charge as members of the Church to carry out the mandate of Jesus Christ, and that is to take care of those who are in need."

I do not lie, daniel. I grew up in the Mormon church. I was ordained a deacon at age twelve, and left the church less than a year later. While I do not hold to Mormon doctrine, I have a deep respect for most Mormon people I know; PLEASE let it rest at that, danielost. I have seen a lot of things about the LDS church that are quite inconsistent with the rosy image the church likes to so often paint.

And, for the record, I do NOT like groups like Saints Alive! or the folks who made "The God Makers", because they DO engage in lies and stretching the truth routinely, and I always believe an argument should be countered with facts.

I am deliberately omitting specifics here out of respect for the many Mormons whom I do respect that blog on this site. It was a simple comment. Do NOT push this further!
