Its funny how easily our people can devide themselves over anything while everyone else around the world is uniting for those same anythings.

it is beginning to be "pick an issue, any issue" and the division begins.. sadly the America I Love so deeply is falling apart at the seems.

God knows I love bill, voted for him twice. But this is just words, trying to get these words into action is something that just seems impossible in today's political climate!

Sometimes I think all that discord and disharmony is what makes us great, Elie. Just a thought.

From his inaugural address, January 1993. I remember it well. While I disagree with a lot of the politics, that was/is a great quote.

We have gone from a country by the people, for the people to a by those we vote in, for themselves. Politicians seem intent on divided Americans in order to gain votes. That is so sad. Today we have a "2 wrongs make a right (or left)" political system. It is no longer about what the people what, it's what can get them the most votes and the most money.



I appriciate it Loca, but while it's a " a great quote" as Gid put it, it is/was nothing but empty words from a guy just trying to look good in the eyes of the American people. His last adventure with Hillary in that video on youtube.com that ended like The Sopranos proves it to me.



Perhaps you can explain to me just how that makes us great. Cause I'm sorry to say that I just don't see it.
