"As for the one Mormon running for office, those that really believe in God will defeat him anyway, so don't worry about that. That's a temporary situation." {comment from Sharpton}

Let A white man say almost the same thing about Barak Obama and what do you think would happen?

"AS FOR THE ONE BLACK RUNNING FOR OFFICE, THOSE THAT BELIEVE IN A REAL AMERICA WILL DEFEAT HIM ANYWAYS, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. THAT'S JUST A TEMPORARY SITUATION."

I wonder how that comment would be received if lets say A rich white GOP supporter said this?

"AS FOR THE WOMEN RUNNING FOR OFFICE, THOSE MEN THAT BELIEVE THAT A WOMAN IS NOT FIT FOR HIGH OFFICE WILL DEFEAT HER, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. THAT'S JUST A TEMPORARY SITUATION"

Sharpton didn't make a racist comment.

How do I know that? Because only Sharpton (or his good buddy Jesse Jackson) gets to tell us what is racist and what isn't

Actually the statements are not quite accurate. And someone has already said something similar about Barak. The LA Times called him "The Magic Negro", basically implying that he is not really black since - A - he has one white parent, and B - he does not trace his ancestry back to American slavery.

But I would love to see it when some conservative says the following:

"AS FOR the one woman RUNNING FOR OFFICE, THOSE that are real woMEN WILL DEFEAT HER(it) anyway, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. THAT'S JUST A TEMPORARY SITUATION"

Which would accomplish the same thing. Calling into question Hillary's gender, and saying she has no staying power.

Yea, I was about to say that someone did say that. It's a double standard really that should not be tolerated. It would be good if the media made a big stink of what they say too just to give them a taste of their own medicine and hopefully they learn a lesson! AND hopefully EVERYONE will think before they make racists and sexists remarks! The good ole boy clubs are alive and well and it doesn't matter what race, everyone does it!

White guilt donna is what stops the MSM from being fair and balanced, if Sharpton said what Imus said, not a word would have been said.. unfair ? yes, reaL? yes.
