America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

According to my addition I should have 24091 points for last 30 days and all I have is 12613.

Where the heck is my other 11 thousand plus points?

I do not write enough to keep up anymore, but when I do write I would like to get credit for it.

 my total is 109918 and should be 120396 which would push gid into number six slot and give me the coveted top 5..

, the ratings got royally messed up the other week somehow. I have one article that suddenly had 8500 points with no referrals, no feature, just magic points. They didn't actually track to my account either.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the points thing. Getting on and seeing if its gone up at all over night and not down (YIKES).
I love em too, not as much as I did, but they are my 11000 plus points and I want them! If I get them it would push me back into the top ten sites, where I have not been for long long time. and it would push me past gid on the top ten users. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The points you got on that article are artificial points as a result of a strange bug in the system. Looking at the number of referrals and the fact that it wasn't featured on the home page, unless you had a few hundred people camping your blog (which would result in high point totals on more of your articles), you couldn't have actually achieved that number. I know it says "selected" but like I said, my post with the mysteriously large score shows around 8500 under "selected" too.

The number is not based on actual clicks or reads. You have 38 referrals total from Google on that article. You have 60 clicks from the "US Domestic" channel. You have 232 views of the article from people hitting your main blog page. You also have 23 responses (those account for about 115 points I believe at 5 points per comment). Unless those people sat there and hit refresh hundreds of times each, the number you achieved is not possible.

So they're not really your points, they're an anomaly in the point display on that article and don't track to the actual score of the article (which probably did get properly attributed to your blog score, even though the total displayed on the article is wrong). My 8500 points on my error'd blog would have doubled my overall blog score for the past 30 days

Ok I give up..{mm walks away grumbling, buncha rip off artists, don't want me over taking gid}

I have had several articles with a high point count with very few responses BTW, not recently either.

But it sounds like there MIGHT be a glitch, but then again, there might NOT be a glitch. I say WE ERROR on the side of safety and just assume the points are mine. heh heh heh heh

Hey Modman, don't feel bad, the same thing happened to me, if I understand it correctly. My user score is only 5k

Really, trudy, I can't believe you manually counted up your points...well, I can believe it i just don't understand why anyone would bother.

--I didn't. Maybe MM counted his points, not me though.

I have to admit, I've had "whining blogs", venting blogs, bitching blogs, never a whoreathon blog though. If I did, do you think anyone would show up? Would they want to? if I served beer with that whine and cheese?

Just a though....
