While the world goes to hell in a hand basket, the far left seems to ignore this BTW. They seem much more concerned with regaining power than protecting America.

At out airports which seem to be one of the targets of choice. it is time to let little grey haired Mrs. O'Grady to be waved through and pay much more attention to Abdul and Osama.

Time to stop letting foreign students overstay their visas. Time to close the borders. Time for an unbreakable, not possible to duplicate forms of identification. Time to stop worrying about what countries "think" of us while we are fighting for our lives. Time to just Threaten North Korea and Iran with total devastation of their countries if they don't behave. WE HAVE THE POWER AND ARE AFRAID TO USE IT. RIDICULOUS!!

I sincerely hope the Democrats regain power, let us see what they do to keep us safe. Appeasement and bargaining will not work as they will find out.

The GOP has blown it! completely, I am disappointed with them. Let us see how the right likes it under the rule of speaker Pelosi! ewww!!! It will take a miracle for the right to not lose the house, maybe the senate too.

I agree that simply speaking up and telling Iran and N. Korea that if they don't knock off the bullshit we'll simply erase them with a few well placed mushroom clouds would be the way to go. Screw them.

The whole profiling phobia is sheer bullshit. They shouldn't focus solely on Middle Easterners as there are some non Middle Easterners who would gladly blow up a plane as well, but they should damn sure focus on them. Who gives a damn if someone is offended if it keeps the planes safe? I sure don't.

We care too much what others think of us. I lived that way for many years without even knowing it. I chose to live without care towards what others think of me, to a certain extent anyways. What we need to do is show the world that we need each other but that does not mean that our problems need their support at all times. We are fully capable of taking care of ourselves though it doesn;t hurt to have some support, just not to the point that we seem to need to ask permission to do anything.

I accept that Bush has screwed up. Big time. But I also believe that he did certain things that needed to be done, however the results were not what I wanted. The Middle East needed to be put in the spot light so that the rest of the wrorld could see that this part of the world was/is in turmoil and something needed to be done, instead they focused more on what we were doing and completely ignored the real problem. That's what we get for being the good guys, cause you know "good guys always finish last".
