America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

If you use terms like "disproportionate response" after all isn't that the idea? to overwhelm the enemy?

If you weep about the Lebanese "civilians deaths" while ignoring the rockets and missiles and Ieds that kill innocent civilians in Israel.

Really think that somehow it is wrong for Israel to defend herself as SHE SEES FIT, when attacked with no provocation.

I have been reading the articles here for a couple days now and am amazed that so many here are undercover and sometimes not so under cover out and out Jew-haters. It is almost like the holocaust never happened. For thousands of years it has been the thing to do, hate Jews and be smug about it.

I really do not care if you hate me because I am a Jew that refuses to play by your rules, the fact that you play by one set and we Jews must play by another.

No we are not going to go away, we will continue to bomb what you call innocent people that allow themselves to be used as staging platforms for terrorist attacks.

I will gladly name names if I need to, but..... you know who you are, now just own up to it, you hate Jews, be proud of your hatred, step right out there and stop hiding.

You also might be a Jew hater if:

You start every diatribe about Israel with "I'm not an anti-semite, but......."

Man, that's a dead giveaway.

You might be a jew hater if your name is Mel Gibson. Ouch!

5 stars for that one!  I am sorry that all of a sudden, the party of compassion and supposed friend of Israel, has decided that if Bush is for them, they must be against them.

I am glad to see that insanity is not transferring to our allies as well.

Here's a question for you: Is it possible to oppose a nation's actions without hating it's people?

I ask this before weighing in myself on what I feel about the current situation. I think there's an imporant distinction that needs to be made between a government, and the people who live within the borders they control. Yes, I know the issue is more charged with Israel. But any nation with strong ties to a single culture or religion have blurry lines over where the individual ends and where the state begins.

sure it is zoomba.

it's when I see excuses being made for the terrorist, such as "israel over reacted" when I ask for what a proper reaction might be, i get nothing in return. Plus the words chosen in the reply or article lead me to believe it's not about governments, but the poeple within the borders they hold in such distain.

Let's not forget the killing STARTED OVER THE CAPTURE OF THREE SOLDIERS. That was wrong but did not justify the response that Israel used which then started the missiles from Lebanon. To date the equation is 3 Soldiers = over 600 DEAD Lebanese! That is a disproportionate response!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The issue is that what Israel is doing by killing innocent people and destroying civilian infrastructure is PUNISHING people that did not attack them. Also the idea that the capture of three soldiers THREATENED THE SECURITY of Israel is a BIG LIE! It did no such thing!

you must look wonderful in your SS black coat gene. funny how people like you conviently "forget" the constant bombbardment the Israelies face on a daily basis, or how the missles fall on completely civilian centers., you are a prime example of a jewhater that thinks he is "undercover"

The issue is that what Israel is doing by killing innocent people and destroying civilian infrastructure is PUNISHING people that did not attack them. Also the idea that the capture of three soldiers THREATENED THE SECURITY of Israel is a BIG LIE! It did no such thing!

no the "issue" is how hezbollah fires missles to Israel from "innocent civilian centers" NOW the Israelies have pictures of hezbollah shooting missles from those populated centers, but I am sure nazis like you think the pictures are frauds as your terrorists could never do that kind of thing, right herr gene?

The kidnapping of three and the killing of several more, by agents of foreign governments who violated the border of a sovereign nation. Frankly, if there is a better reason for war, I'm not aware of it. The Lebanese decided democratically to embrace Hezbollah, and the Palestinians did the same with Hamas. Now they can sleep in the bed they made.

I support Israel but within Israel not in settlements outside the state of Israel. I think if they want a wall that is fine so long as it is along their border. They can not occupy territory like they have for over 40 years and prevent millions of people from having their freedom.

The cause of the problem today is that in 1948 when the world created modern day Israel they did so on land that the Palestinians lived on for about 2000 years. When the Palestinians were forced to leave what became modern day Israel they were not given a place to live but jut told to fend for themselves by the U N and the Arab countries. How would you like to have your home taken from you and given to someone else?

To fail to understand how the hatred grew is just closing your eyes to the reality. Millions of people in this area live without homes or places to work and are being prevented from freely living their lives by Israel. That created the support for the HATE groups among the Moslems that just want Israel gone. There are factions in Israel that just want the Palestinian gone as well. Thus the actions on BOTH sides perpetuate the violence. What Israel and the U S fail to accept is that the way in which Israel has reacted is not solving the problem but actually creating more enemies for both Israel and the United States. Hezbollah was an outgrowth of the 1982 invasion by Israel into Lebanon.

Yesterday Israel agreed to a 48 Hour stop to the bombing. 12 hours later they resumed bombing claiming they did not agree to stop the bombing of military targets. How that is possible since Israel has claimed from the start they ONLY ATTACKED Military Targets. So what is the 48 Hour secession of-- Non-Military Targets that were not being bombes by Israel anyway? What double talk. This is why this conflict is not being solved!
