America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~

I have wondered How well any of us can back up our beliefs,
either the belief in God as creator, or are we and everything
in the world just a huge cosmic accident?

I am sure from the tone I have already set you can see
how I feel.

we agree on this {big suprise right?} but can you back it up, your decision, how did
you arrive at it?

I don't know.

Sometimes I wonder if all the coincidences that had to occur to create the world and the humanity that we see is too much to be a coincidence.

Other times I think the concept of a God/Creator just doesn't jive with what we know about the world.

Most of the time I just don't think about it at all because regardless of the source, the world is, I am, and things just keep on rolling.

well I see evolution happening all around us, species die, new ones born, man getting faster, taller, stronger, smarter, but the beginning? I BELIEVE in a higher power, not some huge mistake.

Are you saying...micro-evolution or macro? Big difference.

Great question. I can back it up only to those who understand it. Those who don't can't no matter what I say. It's a God thing. He's the revealer.

It's a matter of God touching my spiritual eyes and opening them. Before that I was blind....very blind, dead spiritually. He has definitely made himself known to me. I absoulutely believe there is a God and that Jesus was God that walked this earth 2000 years ago. His timing was perfect. If he happened on the scene today....he most likely would have been..... aborted.

To a non-beliver I would say that believing in God makes much more sense than not believing. When I read his words it makes much more sense than this crazy mixed up world we live in. It gives purpose to my life. I've seen things happen that defy all reasonable explanations. I've seen things come true after he's whispered a thought into my mind or put an experience in front of me. How many times can this be called a coincidence?

I look outside at nature. I look at a newborn baby. How could this just happen? DNA is so complicated and fits right into scripture. There was and is a designer behind all we see and know. His fingerprints are all over the place. That's all the evidence we really need.

Question for you.....Can you in six words or less tell me why you exist on planet earth?

to do Gods will and biding.

to do Gods will and biding.

YES!! I believe that as well. Obedience to the Father's Will. The chief end of man is to bring glory to God....boy how politically incorrect does that sound?

Jesus said himself he came to do the father's will. On the cross....he said.....it is finished. He did what he came to do. He fulfilled his purpose.

I belive we are to do that as well. He was our example to follow. For some...even to the cross still.

Equally presumptuous is our will that God abides.

I understand the words you use, but what the heck is the meaning you are trying to convey>

That God's will is of our making.

BTW, i understand the words of your title, but not the conveyance.
The cosmos is what it is: it cannot be mistaken.

cosmic inevitability, where all things are possible, all things must exist.
