America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
The Supreme Court is filled with hypocrits and idiots.

It has nothing to do with trusting the doctors, MM, and everything to do with the incredible amounts of money being made off of its illegality.

All those south american dictators getting their palms greased, all the smugglers and cartels and the law enforcement agencies employed to stop them, Customs, DEA, FBI, Federal Marshalls, the Coast Guard, State and Local Police, Judges, Lawyers, Prison Employees, Probation and Parole Officers, Social Workers, Drug counselors, "rehab" owners....

Look how many of them would be out of a job if weed were legal.

all those folks could be put to work guarding our porous borders, besides the heroin and coke trade is not about to go away.

To step off topic for a moment, (and to satisfy my curiosity) I recently read on one of your blogs that you were 13 in 1994, which would make you 24 now. You've also started adding "PhD" to some of your posts, and referring to yourself as Dr Baily.

Might I ask what subject you got your PhD in at such a tender age, and which university issued it? Id love to read your doctoral thesis....

--I apologize...

--A PhD in history, specifically pre-renaissance, and it was Southern Oregon University...and as soon as i can find it (i don't remember where i put, i think i sutffed it away in a box when i headed out this way...i was just relieved to get done...it was tough...) it might take a while because jasmine is currently fighting a cold (or at least thats what we both think...i'm taking her to see the doc in an hour

You have a good point there Elie. And an even better point Whip! It's definately quite noticeable why marijuana won't be made legal in this country.

Pharmaceutical companies are big money makers in the US and carry a lot of influence with congress and lobbyists and they do know how to throw their heavy weight around. So if they can't make money from something or can't monopolise it why in hell would they want it around?

There are so many natural stuff around that can get rid of a lot of ailments. So many strides that have been made for cure of some diseases but you won't be hearing about them. Because if the cure is out there, where is the money in that?

While I don't indulge in marijuana myself, I've been around it throughout my childhood to know what good it DOES do and why it is GOOD for medicinal reasons. Believe it or not my mom used to give us, my brothers and sisters and I ganja (that's what we call it in Jamaica, or Senseimelia) tea to drink once in a while to keep the "heebie jeebies" away. And we hardly got sick with all those childhood ailments. We were all very healthy kids and still are actually! So making it legal will have its merits!

LW--

Well, I have it figured out now, SOU was not the school that issued me the Doctorate, I was incorrect, after looking into it…the study program I was in, which was specially designed due to the circumstances involved, was started at my hometown's CC...I took classes at SOU (and one other place near my home, besides the CC), but was not alumni, so I wouldn’t be listed as one on the site…as I was not technically a student their…..I was instead enrolled at the local CC, but since they did not have certain classes……hope that helps clear your confusion…

--also, if I can get a scanner, I will get my diploma up…but I have never had any use for one so i never bought one...I will get those photos up tomorrow some time, its almost 1:20am…
