America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Good luck, you will need it.

Has anyone noticed that trying to get a straight answer from some of the jouster liberals just cannot be done?

Any question with any substance is totally ignored, like it just was never asked.

Kind of like trying to ignore a real stinky fart at a party, everyone smells it but no body says a word.

These same people will throw numbers at you, bend them to their own means and when called on it, just go on with there post like you never existed.

I thought that when someone asks a simple question, you are owed a simple answer but in liberal land this does not seem to be what you get.

What ever happened to civil discourse? Plain courtesy or an open exchange of ideas?

The most favorite tactic these days employed by the more radical of the liberals seems to be, when questioned, insult the person that asks, question there parentage, or just plain swear at them. The liberals seem to place a high value on education and manners, but I see none of that behavior here.

Yeah, he can't make laws willy nilly like, oh say, the Patriot Act. Oh, and also, he cannot declare war on another country without consent of the Congress, but he seems to have found a way around that, nez pas?

--Reprisal
Archaic. An act taken by a nation, short of war, to gain redress for an action taken against that nation. For example, seizing a ship in retaliation for a seized ship.

--Actually, when bush went to congres about afghanistan and iraq, i think this is what he got...not sure exactly...technically it is legal consent from congress...[BTW,i'm still looking deeper for what exactly bush asked congress for since it wasn't a direct declaration of war...]

Congress passed the Patriot act.

"he cannot declare war on another country without consent of the Congress, but he seems to have found a way around that, nez pas?"

Actually according to the war powers act states that the President can engage an enemy for 60 days before he seeks congressional approval to make war or extend that 60 days.

It's kind of a sad, little argument, considering Clinton sent Tomahawk missiles into soverign nations, without Congressional approval, almost every time one of his blowjob press releases was due. He just didn't have much reason to make "war" once he found the distraction didn't work.

P.S. I never said I was a liberal. Conservatives can point out spelling errors, too.

I have seen some of your writings.  Good to see you posting on other blogs.  You may not be liberal, but you are not conservative.

And Bush neither passed the Patriot Act (Congress did, he signed it), nor went to war without Congressional Authorization (as Clinton did).  Congress approved of both.  Now the democrats are saying they were tricked, or that they did not understand what they were voting for.

So who does that make look stupid and ignorant?  Bush?  Hardly.  Democrats?

Pro-choice, anti-tax cuts for the rich, anti-war, anti-deficit

anti war me too, selective tax taxation is real dangerous, bring the deficit down, I agree, and although I think abortion is bad, I defend your right to choose.
