Exactly how many of you have me blacklisted?
Published on March 2, 2005 By Moderateman In Blogging
I tried to post a comment on someones site and noticed I was blacklisted from there. WELL imagine that.

I have only one blacklisted from my site and would love to know why you/he/she/it/them have me blacklisted from yours/?

My site is open to any brave enuff to step up to the plate and say why, I will NOT argue this with anyone that does, I just want to know why? OK?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have found if you get on the list, they're prolly not worth talking to anyways

Have to agree with Thatoneguy.  I have been blacklisted twice.  I never went back to those sites.  I dont blacklist, but I do ignore the comments from those who do blacklist me.

I haven't had you blacklisted in weeks, Dr. Guy. You can remove the chip from your shoulder.

Thanks for pulling me into this drmiler. Nice work.

I know it wasn't me. You never have been blacklisted on my site MM.

Funny I am getting people I consider "cyber friendly " replying, but not one that has me blacklisted. oh well I gave them a shot to step up and tell me why, with a PROMISE of not fighting, just reading and mulling over .

This is the problem with the blacklisting feature: The blacklistee always blogs about how they've just been blacklisted, then everyone gathers around the water cooler to discuss it. If you've been blacklisted, deal with it. If the person has an e-mail account that they list, drop them an e-mail to find out why. Otherwise, let it go and keep this stuff off the forums, fight or no fight.

Sure.  But I never got answers either.  I think the Blacklisters are embarrassed when you out them, and they slink back into the shadows to wait for things to cool down.

Those who proclaim their blacklist (you and Blue Dev come to mind), clearly state your reasons and so there is no independant post asking why.

Personal attacks now? How very adult of you.

Sorry for the outbursts in your thread MM. I didn't appreciate my name being mentioned by a third party, and simply responded that you never have been blacklisted from my site (as the policy for Blacklisting is very clear over there). I will leave now.

Oh, blacklisted. Not good. Well it wasn't me. Hope you find out.

I already know who has me blacklisted, and I will not out them here. I just was curious why I was... I personally only have one person blacklisted, But I would open even to her if she could have a civil conversation without name calling, bash my party, bash my stances, bash my blogs, BUT I will never allow anyone to personally attack me for who I am. period, nor will I allow someone to wish me a long painfull death, then have my soul rot in hell for all eterity, because we disagree politically.

Yeah, or maybe there's enough drama on JU and they don't want to start any more of it.
