Why oh why does most liberals whine that the united states is NOT doing enuff for the world? 2004 WE provided 40% of all the relief efforts in the entire world. Is that not enuff? When you are the wealthiest and most self reliant country in the world you do not have the same need for foreign monetary aid as others. You are correct the United States can only give so much, to the world.


However there are times united states turn a blind eye to evil. Example millions massacred and killed in Rwanda and Sudan.
And before a bunch of patriotic evangels descend upon me, "with there meaningless statistics of how america poured food and money into that country, I will simply state that we could of also poured food and money into Iraq as well, whats makes Saddam Hussein who massacred millions any different from evil that goes on all across the world. The war on terrorism argument doesnt cut butter here, because people have been terrorized on this planet for centuries.

The bottom line is oil and economic stability is the lifeblood of this country.
Dont make Dubya fool you into beliveing were defending democracy or fighting terrorist. Because if U.S was fighting the true beast known as terrorism we would have troops all over the world fighting it and defending democracy.

Yes, but terrorists have recently crossed the line with the United States on 9/11/2001. Before that, the US thought of terrorism as a minor irritation.

When you think about it, the UN is all about money and oil, since they aren't fixing all the problems of the world with their finite resources while completely ignoring the consequences of doing such (i.e. I'm sure if the UN went into China and decided to make some changes, China wouldn't respond positively).
