America has problems, but America is NOT THE PROBLEM!~
Your Death grip is loosening

Recently professor John McTighe of The University of Saint Louis told his class that All Bush supporters are "religious zealots"... "I think we should all buy AK-47s and shoot them all" While just after the horrendous attack on September 11th a radical professor at the University of Mexico told his freshman history class "anyone that blows up the pentagon gets my vote".

At Western Michigan State University, a teacher of woman's studies allegedly assaulted Matt Hall a student there because he tried to retrieve a poster advertising a speech by Pat Buchanan that the teacher in question has just torn down. The teacher then went on a rampage throughout the campus tearing down as many of the posters as she could find, she also encouraged her class to follow suit and remove as many of the posters as they could. After she impaled one of the posters on a pole she attached a Mexican flag and stated the reason she was doing this was Mr. Buchanan speech was scheduled on Cesar Chavez day. Great reasoning huh? During Buchanan's speech a student with a Mohawk haircut {we can assume he is not a republican} threw salad dressing in Buchanan's face.

Liberals enjoy a NEAR monopoly on MOST college campuses. Professors seek to overwhelm young minds with a flood of liberal propaganda. The teachers USUALLY  control the textbooks, course selections, "official" student Newspapers, student government, speech codes and admission practices, which are designed to keep as many conservative students out as possible.

However now Conservative students have a champion called the LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE {LI} it was formed by Morton Blackwell who served on the white house staff under President Reagan from 1981 to 1984. He was Reagan's liaison to all college conservative, religious and veterans groups on college campuses, he took what he learned there and formed the LI. From 2004 to 2006 with the help of LI the number of conservative student groups has grown from from 402 to more than 1000 on campuses across America. Blackwell has developed an extensive field staff to go on campuses and show conservative students how to organize. Over the past two years LI has taught conservative groups how to publish new "INDEPENDENT" student newspapers and this is helping loosening the death grip Liberals have on our college campuses.

Needless to say Liberal students and teachers are not happy about this. At Valparaiso University, in Indiana and Bard College in New York, Liberal students have ripped the banner right off of a LI field representatives table. At the University of Tulsa a Professor stood in front of the LI field representatives table and blocked students from signing up or inquiring about it.

How come we do not see Conservative students behaving in such reprehensible manners? the list is endless of bad behavior from the left on the campuses of our nation. All the above facts can be googled, the list of  denial of free speech from the left on college campuses is endless and will not stop till the Conservative voices have a voice equal to the voice of the Liberal left.

Good, I got 10/10 in what I was going for. As soon as I have to refute a point I'll switch over to logical reasoning.

Agree here MM. That's why my sons went to VMI and Liberty University, both VERY conservative. I told my kids at the time they were looking around at colleges that I I was NOT going to spend a penny on a "liberal" education for them. While they could go anywhere they wished on their own dime, I wasn't going to help the liberal agenda by spending mine.

We had already gone thru 4 years of HS this way. I felt like I was deprogramming them everyday after school. Most of the teachers in their HS were very liberal minded and very vocal in their dislike for Christianity. It became very evident when Passion of the Christ came out in the theaters during this time.

I didn't really have to worry tho because now my kids are more conservative than I am.....if that's even possible....lol.

That's something to brag about?...bleh.

Oh o.k. I must have misunderstood. What WAS your point again? And out of interest how many businesses have you started and grown into successful going concerns?

I know better than to start a business with no capital and no experience in my field. So none.

Having common sense and sanity in politics...it makes it hard to define yourself.

Perhaps because in politics, there is no sanity and common sense.

Hmm, how is this any different from sending a youngster to a liberal college, other than the fact that the suppressed speech and ideas (on a conservative campus) are liberal rather than conservative?

If we want the future leaders of this nation to possess any faculty for critical thought at all, they need to be exposed to many different political (and social) philospohies, not just the preferred party line of their parents.

Limiting their education to approved conservative thought is just as bad as limiting it in the opposite direction. You're going to turn out brainwashed automatons either way.

While I know you love tweaking KFC's nose this response happens to be right on the money,.

Oh, and Elie?

Weren't you just saying the other day that universal health care should be the RIGHT of all Americans?

If that's the case, you ought to be sending your donations to these liberal colleges.

I know what I said but I do not want the governement enforcing it. ever. period.

Well they have had 12 years of liberal education. So if I sent them to a liberal college, where whould the difference really be? So I'm not sure where I'm limiting them in their dose of liberalism coming from your perspective. I'm just saying there is NO way I'm going to give a penny to the colleges in question. Why would I? 4 years of a good conservative college is defintely something different than they are used to.

On top of all that, we know the liberals run the media, and they do have jobs working alongside both liberals and conservatives, so I'm sure they aren't in the dark when it comes to liberal issues.

Besides all that, they are free to go to any college they wish, liberal or otherwise. I'm just not paying for it.

To me giving money to a liberal college would be like taking part in an abortion clinic fundraiser. If I disagree with the politics of it, why would I support it?

Boy talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place, what whip says sounds very reasonable, yet what you say does too. even though they are at differing ends of the spectrum. Maybe I am becoming a liberal taking all  sides of an issue at the same time.
